"Loved living at The Wimbledon. The building is great, with roof top deck and private terraces, like mine. The staff is attentive and kind. Perfect location - midway between Central Park and the East River with Carl Schurtz Park. Wonderful restaurants nearby. Easy access to the Lex and 2nd Ave subway lines."
"We moved into Wimbledon in June 2023. Most of the staff is friendly but the building itself is a NIGHTMARE. - ONE elevator works in the entire building and many days it has to be manually run by a doorman. The wait time for an elevator is 15+ minutes— and that’s not an exaggeration. It’s been promised to be fixed for months now and no work is being done. No compensation has been offered or rent reduction has been put in place. -The gym has no AC. -The rooftop has so many plants, it attracts every type of bug, including lantern flies, making it so unpleasant to sit up there. -The apartment constantly smells like mildew. No matter what cleaning product or maintenance work is done, the smell persists. - The entire lobby of tile collapsed right in the entryway leading me to believe there are hot water leaks. - The in-unit AC units don’t work properly EVER. We’ve even had ours changed out. We pay $6500/month and it’s the most unpleasant place to have to come home to every day. It’s now October, and we are moving out this week because we couldn’t stand living here anymore. I only write this review, so others are spared from wasting their money and find a decent home. Wimbledon may look shiny and new from the outside, but there are more issues in this building than in a pre-war and no one onsite or who owns it seems to care…"

"I couldn't recommend this building more. The front desk staff and the management are amazing. Always willing to help with anything that comes up and very responsive. The units themselves are spacious and in great location."
"I have been living here for a year, and my experience with The Wimbledon has been amazing. They are always prompt in their response, and they actually provide real solutions. Kudos to all the staff here! Doormen are really professional, handymen are very prompt and skillful, management is really awesome. Thanks to this, we are extending our lease."
