"As a current resident at 10 Downing Street in the West Village, I recommend avoiding leasing here. I reported noise complaints as I heard the first-floor restaurant blasting music every day. It's like living in a college dorm, especially on weekends. Multiple times, I've talked to the property manager, Jacob Otto, but he doesn't take tenant complaints seriously. Nothing has changed since I reported the issue."
"Have nothing but positive reviews about this building! The staff (specifically Edmond, Castro, Egli and David) are the most helpful, sweet, and personable. They go above and beyond to make the residents of this building happy and comfortable. The gym, back courtyard, and location are amazing as well. They are super dog friendly ! I love living here!"
"very noisy, even when half full, 10 downing disappoints on other levels too. the food is below average and the waiter doesn't bother listening to your order. for a burger & a glass of wine, you had to ask for the wine twice, and the burger ordered very rare came medium well. the leek risotto was lacking leeks. the weakness of this restaurant is a pity in this location - we need someplace for after the film forum. but this won't make the cut."
