The Cloud One Hotel New York-Downtown

"The hotel is a great location and relatively reasonably priced for NYC. It did seem to lack the quality of the motel ones in Germany. The breakfast was far too expensive. About 3x what the ones in Germany cost and with far fewer options. I had paid the excessive breakfast price thinking I was at least going to have a plethora of options. That wasn’t the case. Breakfast is worth maybe $12, even by NYC prices. I thankfully did not need to use heat or ac, as I see reviews that mention issues with those. The staff is very friendly and helpful."

"This is a lovely little hotel that is literally a block away from the 9/11 memorial. This is a Manhattan hotel, so the rooms are small, but immaculately clean, modern and well designed to make good use of the room space. The decor is subtle and very pleasant. The linens, pillows & mattress were spotless pure white and very comfortable. Since we were so busy, we didn't have much opportunity to use the amenities of the hotel, but there were no problems at all. There is a great bar and balcony on the 6th floor that we wish we had the time to use. Since there is construction in the area in the daytime and some scaffolding out front, we were able to get the room for an amazing price, considering the going rate for the area during the holiday season. The hotel is wonderfully quiet at night, which you will not experience in some Manhattan hotels at all. If you are doing business near the world trade center, this is a great location for you, otherwise, you should plan on wearing some comfy shoes and get ready to take a train or an Uber if you want to get to a more 'tourist popular' area."

"Fantastic hotel in a great location, staff were very helpful as well. Our room was nice and clean, this place seems quite new. Bar was cosy as well in the evenings, definitely recommend staying here. Not far from the subway into midtown and uptown, lots of nice coffee places nearby for breakfast."

"Our experience was great for being the first time in New York City! Hotel was clean, lobby was modern and the staff was very friendly. A BIG thank you to Johan, Angel, and Jose for listening to us and addressing our concerns with so much respect and kindness. They accommodated us to the room we initially wanted and treated us with such care! We will definitely return to this hotel as the experience was fantastic!! Thank you so much guys! "Great hotel for a stay in NYC, we can absolutely recommend it and would definitely stay here again. The rooms are clean, nice and modern and the view from our 22nd floor room is stunning! We got a complimentary room upgrade, which was awesome. And the hotel staff is super friendly, especially Elena, who did the check-in with us :-) She also gave us great recommendations for restaurants around the hotel. The breakfast is really good too (mostly organic), with the best croissants we've ever had."
