"Hello! Thank you for asking.. In general the transition has been seamless, but I do have a few comments. A week ago I needed to talk to management about obtaining the new email address where vendors that are shipping furniture to residents need to email the COI form. When I called the number in the website I got a recording with three options: concierge, management and leasing. Choosing management would invariable redirect you to the leasing recording. And at concierge, the good people at the libby did not have that information. It took me two days of frustrating attempts to finally get a person on the phone to get that information. Other than that, I’m delighted to continue seeing most of the staff familiar faces. I must say that I have noticed (and mentioned it at the lobby) that the halls (on my floor) and at the lobby get a bit messier before somebody vacuums them. Lastly, I’ve noticed in a couple of occasions a new lobby staff member speaking rather loudly to another staff person and laughing quite noisily while on the job. I just never saw that before. I’ m sorry about complaining (I hate to be a pain in the neck) but I am so grateful for your asking that I believe in your interest to make things run as smoothly as ever at the Sierra. "Handyman did a great job replacing my microwave, although it did take over a week."
"My microwave, the one that came with the apartment, broke, and I've been waiting over a week to get a new one. I discovered my apartment was taken off the 'work order' list, and had to appeal to management to get it back on!"
"The building's OK. It's not really luxury, though they charge high, high rent. The location's not OK. It's pretty noisy and seedy with lots of homeless. There's been a number of crimes in the area. I think you can do better (certainly for the money)."
