Prism at Park Avenue South Apartments

"Prism has been a great place to live. The entire administrative process from beginning to end was smooth and efficient. Leasing staff (Sam, Noah) are very friendly and respond promptly to all inquiries. The concierge staff is friendly and helpful and do a fantastic job managing packages (you should see the volume of deliveries, it's mind blowing). The building itself is beautiful and well maintained and the apartments are well designed and finished to a level that I would expect for the rental prices. Maintenance staff (Marius) take care of requests quickly and professionally. The amenity space is the best I have seen in Manhattan in this price point (pool, sauna, steam room, huge gym, pelotons, yoga studio, kids space, etc, etc.). Finally, the location cannot be beat; its literally on top of the 6 and 2 stops from Grand Central or Union Square making it easy to get anywhere in the city. I've hardly used a cab living here for a year unless I'm going to LaGuardia. There is a Whole Foods next door, plenty of restaurants within a 10 min walk and Madison Square Park is so close and lovely. If I wasn't moving out of state I would continue to rent here."

"Prism has been my favorite renting experience thus far! 1) From the front desk to the porters to the leasing office, literally every staff member is incredible 2) Amenities (lounge, sauna, steam room, pool, meeting rooms) are top notch and well-maintained 3) The Prism is as close as you can get to a "brand new" building in the city, as it's only a decade old 4) Fellow residents are super friendly You Should Know: The units on each floor are incredibly different in terms of lighting, closet/pantry space, kitchen counter space, etc. While the 3D virtual tour is good, I'd highly recommend checking out multiple units first"

"I have lived in Prism for two years, currently in my third, and overall the place has been okay. The building is nice, but you can get better given what you pay in other buildings over the city. Space is decent, showers have low water pressure, washer/dryer have issues, kitchen appliances are good. I would like to highlight that the door staff are great, super friendly, five stars and there for you when you need. However, the management team is pretty frustrating and border line deceitful. When renewing a lease, they allude to tell you certain things will change but then do not honor them. Furthermore, they are generally not very accommodating with situations, and I could not recommend working with them. Finally, the food delivery policy and grocery policy is ATROCIOUS. Only luxury building in NYC that does not allow delivery to come up or send it in the elevator. It may not seem like a pain, but having to go down every time you get something is very painful. Don’t do that to yourself!"
