"Well, we were expecting to stay here for a quick crash in NY, but at 9:45 the night before our stay they emailed to say they didn't actually have a room for us. There was an unpleasant rigamaroll at 10:30PM trying to find a new place to stay through an external call center that asked us to give credit card info over the phone, which felt a little sketchy. They said they would book us at the nicer Ludlow Hotel around the corner and cover the difference in price, which was nice of them - the reason why this review is 2 stars instead of 1. I guess the moral of the story is to just stay somewhere else. Will update this review if we ended up getting scammed, which would add insult to injury."
"This was a perfect spot to sleep while visiting the city. The room I had was tiny but i expected that. The view is spectacular with clear view of the Empire State Building. Quiet enough neighborhood and can’t hear city noise with windows shut. Room could stand a coat of paint but other than that everything was clean and worked. Bed was comfortable and didn’t smell like people."
"we stayed two days at the hotel. The neighborhood is cool, animated by many bars, restaurants, shops. We were very well received. the rooftop of the hotel offers an incredible view. on the other hand the room is really small and not totally at the top level of cleanliness"
"The most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed in! I stayed in their hotel back in December. I went into 2 difffernt rooms, there was hair and snot all over the bedsheets. Clearly housekeeping doesn’t change the sheets between guests. The receptionist did nothing to help me, when I asked for a refund they wouldn’t give it, instead all they could give was a $15 facility fee refund. It’s ridiculous that they even charge a facility fee given the state of the place. I will continue to pursue a refund or some more appropriate reimbursement. Avoid this place and stay somewhere else"
"Great stay! Room was clean, shower and plumbing worked, and the bed was comfortable. The people at the front desk, especially Brittany (sorry if I’m misspelling) were super friendly. They held my bags before check-in and check-out. Amazing view and location as well!"
