"Always have a pleasant experience at this hotel & this time was no different . We went for a book event and it proved to be the perfect venue . The food was light & delicious. Comfy chairs and inviting homey type of feel in the meeting rooms . Was also impressed with wheelchair accessible bathrooms & very pleasant staff . Great Hotel & Bar ."

"My wife and I had High Tea at the Whitby. The bar area where we had tea was quite nice. We had drinks at the bar while waiting for our table. The bartender was attentive and spot on with our drinks. Kudos. The only downside, we waited an extra 20 mins past our reservation time. When I asked a staff member about the wait, she acknowledged what I said, then continued to fold napkins. WTH! I then talked to the hostess who apologized and immediately got us seated. Tea was great, the service at tea was also great, but the napkin folder was ridiculous...New York City, what are you gonna do?"

"We did not stay at the Whitby hotel but went here for their afternoon tea at the bar. We had called ahead and made reservations, they even remembered our dietary restrictions and made changes accordingly. My husband and I could each pick one tea and both of them (Earl Grey and Chamomile) tasted lovely. The three tiered food came with a selection of sandwiches, scones and desserts. We loved the food and it was very filling. The staff is very courteous and kept checking in on us. Overall, we loved this experience."

"Came for tea did the caviar thing. Overall decent. Service not quite there. Manager was very inattentive I think I waited at least 15-20 minutes to be sat down. Sandwiches decent and scones were ok. Did not like the sweets."
