"I was pretty underwhelmed with my stay at the hotel, especially it being my birthday weekend and from reading other reviews I thought it was going to be a great time, I was wrong. Upon checking in the guy was nice, but seemed distracted for a bit he saw it was my birthday and offered a wine bottle to be brought up to my room( thought that was very kind) , finally got our key. Saw they only had one robe, i called front desk to get another for my sister they said sure, as we were were waiting, almost an hour past and I called again downstairs , they said “they forgot” and finally brought up robe, but no wine . Mind you I only asked about the wine because the receptionist offered it because of my birthday and I said sure. So that wine bottle that was offered , ended up coming two hours later. Honestly at this point, I was just getting upset because I wanted a chill birthday weekend at this hotel but nothing met my expectations. Lastly with their restaurant next door , Trademark, I wanted to do a room service , so I put it an order for just a flatbread pizza. This was a Saturday. The restaurant said it closed at 10, I put in the order and paid exactly 8pm. Again waiting and waiting, saw that it was almost close to their closing time. Tried to call the restaurant no one picking up, then I just happened to check my phone, just to see they cancelled my order without any notice or explanation. I just don’t understand. So as you can see I’m writing this because I’m highly upset at my experience and truly disappointed."

"A fantastic boutique hotel in a fantastic location. We stayed for a week and the stay could not have been better. The staff were great and very friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and we were very surprised how quiet the room was with us having a room on one of the lower floors. If we are ever back in NYC we will definitely be staying here again."

"Had a wonderful stay here with the whole family! We bought the parking-included package online for the duration of our stay. It was really easy to park in the parking garage a VERY short walk down the street from the entrance of the hotel. Once our stay was done, we brought the parking ticket to the front desk of the hotel and they confirmed the free parking on the ticket (that we then brought with us to the parking garage). I was nervous about NYC parking but this was effortless and nothing went wrong. The room itself was on the smaller side, but worked fine for a family. Had separate spaces for us to all comfortably sleep in and the bathroom was large. Everything was super clean. Housekeeping was always super quick to respond to us when we needed something. The front desk answered my countless questions pre-stay with a calm courtesy that I really appreciated. The hotel is near k-town, and had a ton of all kinds of food nearby. Walking distance to time square, empire state building, Bryant Park, Harry Potter exhibit! Thank you for making our trip to NYC so smooth and fun! Will stay again!"

"Theft During Stay For starters the front desk staff was very friendly upon our arrival to the hotel. When we entered our room we noticed that there were suspicious brown marks on our bedding that appeared fresh/ not just stained fabric. We were about to head out for dinner so we asked if our bedding could be changed while we were away. When we got back we were happy to see that the bedding was changed but also noticed that on the freshly made bed was my friend's duffle bag, now opened with her previously folded clothes now tossed around inside it. Her underwear was taken out of the bag and placed on the bed beside it and her portable power bank was taken. Whoever came to change the bedding also left a bag of trash inside the room. We immediately let the front desk know as we were now very uncomfortable to stay in the room. They were very nice and apologetic though they did let us know we couldn't change rooms, even to one that was smaller, as they were booked up and that the manager wouldn't be in until after we checked out the next day. I gave the manager a call the next day and he let me know that I would have to wait until Monday (this was Saturday) for the housekeeping manager to be in and that he would give me a follow up call. He did not call back Monday and so I sent him an email. He has yet to respond but I will update with any resolution. Again the front desk staff was very nice and the hotel was beautiful so the soiled linens, theft, and lack of response from the manager is very unfortunate."

"Book it! I did a lot of research before booking a nyc hotel. This hotel lives up to the reputation. Amazing location, close to so much. Lots of amazing food within walking distance. The rooms are spacious. The hotel aims to please with their services, and they succeed. In the lobby, the complimentary coffee in the morning, hot chocolate in the afternoon, and fruit infused water is a treat. They are consistent about keeping your room stocked with coffee pods, water bottles and toiletries. All staff we encountered were nice and very keen to help, the management obviously puts service first. The beds were comfy and the room was very surprisingly quiet! I never heard an outdoor noise-so shocking! I am very happy with this choice!"
