"Good hotel, well situated in Manhattan. Helpful staff. Room was fine but it was very hot. Couldn't make it cooler. Good breakfast. Great that complimentary hot drinks were available 24/7."

"We were a group of 5, 3 adults and 2 kids, stayed 4 nights. Overall we enjoyed this hotel for its location, cleanliness and friendly and helpful staff. We had the family suite rooms with the kitchenette, two queen beds and pull out sofa bed. Fyi the sofa bed is a smaller size, twin size and a bit shorter in length. We enjoyed having access to laundry 24/7 and we came prepared with our own quarters. There is a machine to exchange cash for quarters but it did run out of change for other people who needed it. There is one washing machine that has a lock issue. The single machine as soon as you walk in, in front of you. Your clothes will get locked in there, unless they fix it. You can either wait for maintenance or just kick it like I did and it’ll magically unlock. We also loved the rooftop terrace that was available 24/7 and you can bring your own food and drinks up. There are chairs and tables. The breakfast was wonderful to have every morning. There was a great variety of hot items every morning and always the staples as well. The staff did a really good job at keeping the areas cleaned up as people came and went from the breakfast room. The better time to go is when they first open for service as it does seem to get busier later on. Housekeeping came every day while we were out and freshened up the room which was so nice to come back to - beds made, garbages changed, fresh towels, restocked tp & paper towel. The only drawbacks were those couple hiccups in the laundry room and our drains in the room were clogged badly. Although it didn’t greatly affect our stay in the room it was just kind of gross (the sink and the shower. I would stop the water while washing so the water wouldn’t pool up at my feet). Hopefully maintenance can correct that issue for the next guest. We would definitely stay here again."

"I have to start with a compliment . Donovan, a young man working the front desk was exceptionally helpful . Upon arrival he checked our luggage into a holding area so we could enjoy the city for the day before check in time. He seemed to be at the desk every time we had a need and he was always accommodating despite how incredibly busy the lobby was on a Saturday before Christmas. When we were leaving he even made point to say goodbye and thank you for staying. Very nice young man. The rest of the review.... Took a family trip to visit the Christmas sites and needed a room that would accommodate five. This room was much more spacious than expected for crowded manhattan. Full kitchen area and a pull-out couch. Note that the pull out couch is a twin size mattress only. The kitchen area could use more lighting. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was quite large. Rooftop was a nice touch and offered a pretty good view. Breakfast was unexpected, as we were searching not many hotels offered it. They had a great selection with attentive staff constantly restocking. Yes the lobby and food area were crowded but the hotel does the best it can with limited footprint that it has on the first floor. Hotel was close to the subway but a little farther from some of the sites then we wanted to be. However, for the price and service we received we will definitely stay there again."

"I was a little apprehensive bc we usually stay at more luxurious hotels, but 7 nights in NYC over Christmas with 5 of us, required us to be a little less bougee! But I was super happy with the stay. The room was actually spacious, especially for a hotel in Manhattan. The free breakfast was fine. Yes, it repeated a lot, but there was a good variety and it was free! They were also awesome at constantly replenishing the food, coffee, water, etc. The hotel staff were all helpful and friendly, which should be expected, but often is not the case these days! Housekeeping was great and any time we had to call for service (toilet needed plunging, hairdryer needed to be replaced, more towels, etc), they came right away. Elevators were slow so we used the stairs, but that’s any any busy hotel. Would def stay here again!"
