"Super friendly and helpful staff. Mae at the front desk goes the extra mile. The breakfast staff was extra kind as well. Everything was clean and new. Very comfortable. We had a great stay."

"1. This is supposed to be a renovated hotel, but it seems that whoever did the job were shady contractors and whoever checked the work was sleeping. Closet doors that are supposed to roll just fall through, faucets can do 360 degree turns, windows have air leaks, dishwashers are old and broken down. 2. Housekeeping refuse to do simple things like change the trash cans or replace towels if you are in the room. They claim this is a typical hotel policy... It is not. Most hotels can enter the room to do either full house keeping or simply taking out trash. 3. Breakfast: they don't have enough food going into the last 20 minutes of breakfast and they start clearing things up 15 minutes before the end. Policy should be to serve customers up until the end of the time frame provided... 4. Breakfast: very anti-semitic, they put pork into most of their hot foods, bacon pork, egg bagel with pork sausage, etc..."

"Residence Inn Ashville NC 1 night 8-30-2023 Upon checking into the hotel we were told the parking lot was being torn down and would have to park in the rear of the hotel or on the street. When I inquired about not being informed sooner I was told I got an email…..THIS MORNING as I was driving to the hotel for 8 hours! I was livid. The parking lot had obviously been torn up for weeks for a redo, but I was just informed the same morning of check-in. How clever of them not to give me sufficient notice so I could book a different hotel. As I was only staying for one night I toughed it out and parked in the rear of the hotel. I would never have stayed knowing in advance about the parking. I have a disability and had to endure trekking up stairs outside in pouring rains to get to my room. This is VERY POOR SERVICE!"

"First and foremost, this hotel was newly and amazingly remodeled. Neil at the front desk gave us a lot of useful information. This was our first visit to Asheville. Everything from the Biltmore to the downtown area and the Arboretum was amazing. Walking distance to Standard Pizza Co and really close to all mentioned above. Pepe and the kitchen staff worked hard to keep all the buffet items fresh and stocked at all times. 5 thumbs up for this Residence Inn with duel firepits !! We will definitely be back!"
