Hilton Garden Inn NYC Financial Center/Manhattan Downtown

"The staff here were absolutely great, responsive and then some. We managed to leave a laptop and they went above and beyond and shipped it out right away. An Phan the front end manager is truly wonderful, as well as every front desk person we encountered. The location itself is fabulous, literally at the very tip of Manhattan, literally a block from the subway station and across the street from the ferries to the Statute of Liberty, Ellis Island and Staten Island, blocks from south street sea port. The room rates are incredibly reasonable-- we prefer to stay in lower Manhattan, and this is one of the best Hilton properties we've stayed in."

"Just spent my birthday weekend here. Everything was perfect. From house keeping coming everyday to clean. The Grill and Bar inside the hotel. I had a river view room it was beautiful. The staff was amazing and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel. I will be returning."

"Tiny, tiny rooms. Booked for four adults and if you're doing the same you better know them well because the bathroom door doesn't shut or even have a lock. It might as well not have a door, as it's just flimsy sliding one that doesn't seal, nor stay in it's closed position. Room was wet when we arrived due to storms and the fact that the windows didn't really seal. Pretty loud, but I doubt it'll be a problem unless there's coincidentally a bad storm. As of January 2024 it also seems to be under construction making it even more cramped. The lobby and entry way are pretty depressing. Overall very negative. Staff was nice, not much they can do about the building. Location is alright. View is decent"

"A lot of construction around the hotel as of December 2023. We stayed here the night before our cruise departed from the Red Hook area. Very close to the Staten Island Ferry. Walkable distance to the World Trade Center area. About a 15 minute walk with luggage to Wall St. pier 11. Several restaurants are also within walking distance of the hotel. The front desk staff were very kind, courteous and helpful."

"This hotel was great! From the beginning everyone we encountered at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful. They made sure to greet us every time we walked in the front doors for the two nights we stayed there. We had a room with two beds and it was quite spacious and clean compared to other NYC hotels we’ve stayed at with similar or slightly higher prices. We also had the water view which was a pretty nice view. Location was also great in a good part of the city. We were able to eat nearby, walk a lot of places, or use the subway right across the street. Overall we thought the value of the hotel was incredible! We think we paid a fair price for our trip. Typically we feel like we overpay for the hotel quality we get, but this hotel did not feel that way! We would definitely stay here again."
