"Great experience!! Me and my dad usually stay in uptown and decided to do differently this year. So glad we chose this hotel! Has an awesome rooftop balcony with a great view! Front desh was polite and free water bottles! Good coffee, and the elevator was also fast. Love this hotel and SOHO!"
"I am surprised to see so many bad reviews. I don’t consider myself someone who is easily pleased, but this is a quality hotel. The location is unbeatable. The service was fantastic. The rooms are obviously not 5-star hotel rooms, but this isn’t a 5-star hotel! For this tier of hotel, the rooms are nice and spacious. I found everything to be clean. I checked thoroughly for bed bugs, saw no indications. The smell mentioned in some reviews? Did not notice any weird smell… The entryway is nice, the foyer is nice. There is even a balcony on the top floor that is open to all guests - that is truly unique for a budget hotel in NYC! This is a worthwhile place to stay, I certainly will be coming here again."
"Decent place with affordable price! They have unlimited water, unlimited hot coco, tea and coffee. Great service, the place was clean. They replaced our towels everyday and fixed our bedding. View is decent. Kind enough to let us check in 15 min early if room was available We didn’t have any issues with our belongings moved around. Close to train station. We had a wonderful holiday stay there."
"We truly have the best time at Soho 54. I informed the hotel that we were coming for my Mum’s birthday and it would be nice if we can get a room with a good view. I was more than pleased when we checked into a room on the 18th floor with a perfect view on Manhattan and the empire state building! Included in the facility fee, we were able to get as many coffee/tea/bottle of water as we wanted which was also really cool,. The location was perfect, in the heart of Soho, close to many subway stations to get to the city center. Besides, The staff was so nice and helpful, I can’t recommended this hotel enough!"
"This is a great hotel in a nice area that is more quiet. Not as much hustle & noise. Lots of great choices for meals close by, shopping, coffee, etc. The rooms were very clean & nice. . They always have coffee, tea & hot chocolate waiting, as well as bottled water to take to your room. The staff was very kind, welcoming & helpful. I would definitely stay here again."
