Days Inn by Wyndham Newark Wilmington 900 Churchmans Road, Newark, DE 19713

"They processed my deposit as a purchase 2 days after I checked out. I called asking about my deposit and why it seemed they had processed a payment. We arrived at 11:30pm slept and showered and were gone before 7am the next morning. No pets , no kids , no food consumption. I was told by the front desk they sent the deposit refund and when I double downed and explained that is not what they did and I’d like my deposit refunded the woman began yelling and telling me to call my bank then . I requested a receipt showing the deposit and the return the woman attempted to rush me off the phone when told her I’d stay on the line and wait for it. There is no indication on the receipt that it was refunded as I explained this to the woman she became belligerent. My bank went thru and saw the deposit hold on the day I arrived and a payment processed two days after I’d checked out. It’s not a clean hotel and even for a quick nap and shower while extensively traveling, the headache was not worth it. They are clearly scammers and I behoove anyone thinking of going here to go to the Howard Johnson next door."

"So we stayed at this motel last night and the smell of the room was awful. The ATM in the lobby did not work. Breakfast was horrible muffins and some juice not even a hot breakfast on Sunday and the whole motel needs a whole makeover because the rooms smell awful, we actually had a reservation for a king size bed and got two double beds like what type of craziness is this then they don’t tell you that they’re charging you $100 on a credit card that you can’t get back for 3 to 5 days there was no real snacks in the vending machine I felt like I was getting eaten up by the bugs didn’t notice the roaches as everybody else said, but got up in the next morning and they were dead roaches up on where the TV is. Doesn’t look like they’ve cleaned up since 1970 just a very horrible experience. Just felt like I really ran down motel. This motel needs a whole new makeover. i’ve stayed at motels for a continental breakfast at least had some cereal. They had nothing but muffins and juice and want to be not a low budget motel. I guess it should’ve been better service."

"Stayed here for work. The rooms do what they need to do. The location is great for odds and ends with a friendly neighborhood. The staff is wonderful, the 2 younger housekeepers were professional, insightful and super friendly. The 2 gals working the front desk helped out so much with directions, accommodations and so polite. Will be looking forward to the next time I stay in Delaware!!"

"Have stay here 100 of times but this time they decided to keep my 100$ deposit for a lil hair dye on the pillow case and trash because we stayed there for a lil over a week! All trash was cleaned dup placed in bags all in one area !. It would have been taken out if housekeepers visited but they only came once in our stay .! Right near easy transportation, very private rooms ❤️"

"The hotel and price for the room are great but the only thing they don't say on any website is that that charge a $100 deposit for you to stay here. Which would be fine if it is anywhere on there website when your booking but it's no where to be found. I will not be staying at another Days Inn again."
