"Someone here broke in our room and used our tub and bed here as soon as we checked in and came back after dinner. They refused to give us our money back being as I would never feel safe with having my fiance in a room like this with shady business practices. First off the young man at the front desk claimed to be the owner but now he's not all of a sudden. I just want my refund I didn't stay In this room and just want it to be justified."
"Every time we left out the room, the room key for the outside to get in the building never worked! We had to go to the lobby to get a new key EVERY TIME! They also questioned me about my name and ID. Didn't expect the best due to me knowing the area and stay. But I was expecting some good customer service, and a good welcoming. NEVER AGAIN!"
"I stayed here for one night for a work trip. The rooms are old you can tell they just painted over everything. The hotel is a maze and there’s no elevator. The night front desk staff are not very pleasant or accommodating at all. This is Not a Place for a Female solo traveler!!! I repeat if your a SOLO FEMALE TRAVELER DO NOT STAY HERE!!!"
"Booked 2 rooms hoping they be close together. No, they were on different floors. There was food under the bed, floor was very sticky (when tried to wipe up all there was was soap residue), remote had no cover to the battery department, there was only one kids channel, and beds were sunken in the middle. Otherwise seen no evidence of rodents, was never bit by anything, it was quiet, linens were fresh and clean, bathroom/mini frig/microwave were clean, television was easy to see and hear. Second room was not bad at all. What first room was lacking this room had and vice versa."
"It was my experience that upon checking in there were no shady people out on the grounds, save for a woman walking her dog on the outer boundaries of the property. There was a young man, late teens or early 20s that did my check in and he was very prompt professional. He couldn’t find my reservation at first, but after some further investigating, he found it. The only excessive noise that I heard was a man on a Harley Davidson motorcycle exiting the parking lot and also some excited kids running down to their room. I did not hear any noises from other guests, either talking snoring or the noise from the TV. It was my experience that there were no bedbugs, no roaches, and no rodents. Upon entering the room, I did a scan, and found no evidence of rodent droppings, or the oils left on fixtures from their fur. I sat and watched TV with the lights on, and did not see any roaches coming out from anywhere. I also popped in and out of the bathroom and saw no roaches. I slept on the bed (not in it, that’s Amy own quirk) and would pop up every now and then and scan the area around me to see if there were any advancing bedbugs. (I also sleep with the lights on also my own quirk) When I woke in the morning, there was no blood on the comforter and while taking a shower, I checked myself and also in the mirror, and there were no bedbug bites. The hotel is right next to a few very good eateries that would fall under the sports bar category. There is a Royal Farms market within walking distance also and also a liquor store. No doubt about it at the room needs a deep clean, there was a smear of either peanut butter or work man’s putty on the door, and into the bottom drawer of the dresser, the liner needs to be replaced. However, there were no visible fingerprints uncommonly touched areas in the room. There was no ring around the tub and the toilet bowl was gleaming. The towels and the linens were clean. The mirror was streak free. The TV gets lots of channels and also has a clear picture and great sound. My favorite part of the room was they have a small coffee maker and provide you with plenty of coffee, creamer and sweetener. Give this place a chance! I booked through Priceline and paid approximately $50 per night. If there is any problems that you cannot remedy then you’re only out $50."
