"Don’t rent from Iowa PK Properties. Seriously your better off staying in a garbage bin. When we moved in the apartment was filthy and damaged. Our air conditioning was broke for two weeks during the hottest temps this year, they had no intention of fixing it. We had “contractors” enter our townhome on numerous occasion without notice. Now that we have moved out Ashley is telling us we are not getting our deposits back. These are just a few of the violations we had against us as renters. Seriously don’t do it, tell your friends not to. We paid our rent on time every month even with these violations. They have no respect for their tenets."
"If I could give zero stars I would. After arriving we noticed just from the outside how trashed the place was but we decided to still give it a chance since we had scheduled an appointment for 2 that afternoon. We enter in and immediately we are hit with the strong smell of cigarette smoke (which ok, whatever, except for the fact that they claimed to be non-smoking on the website) and how loud it was in the building. You could hear everything that was happening in peoples apartments. We knocked on the office door and no one answered, so I decided to call, which I received no answer to as well. After waiting for a few minutes outside the door we were met by maintenance. We told him we had a showing scheduled but couldn't seem to get ahold of anyone. To which he replies, oh, she probably just went to go get food. We wait for another 20 mins and decide to just leave. It's been a few days and no one ever tried to get ahold of us. You think they'd be inclined to, bear minimum, reach out and apologize. Just unhappy that I wasted my time at this place."
"The place seemed to perpetually smell. The manager of the building like to verbally harass younger people. The manager at the time seemed to be against kids playing (2015-16)"
