"Fairly new property with a more modern approach. The receptionist was personable and quick which was appreciated after a long day on the road. The rooms were very clean and appreciated no old, musty carpeting but the flooring was comfortable enough. Bed and bathrooms were above average and the room price and pet fees were lower than comparable properties near by. But the rooms were small, the refrigerator super small and the breakfast selection was limited but decent. There is a lot of construction which is problematic and you are a bit land locked with no easy access to shops and restaurants. But overall, a good stay."

"My wife and I stopped here for the night as we were just passing through with our small Jack Russell puppy and they are a pet friendly hotel allowing one dog weighing less than 50 lbs. The location is just off interstate 10 but it's far enough off that the traffic noise is very minimal and almost sothting background noise. The first thing we noticed is that the room had vinyl flooring which we prefer for sanitary reasons and the do clean daily which seems like a thing of the past at aloof hotels. The room is smaller than normal rooms but honestly it was not lacking for space nor was it cluttered. They romm had plenty of places to put your luggage up off the floor and though there is no traditional closets there are several hangers and hooks along he wall offering plenty of places to hang things. Here is a list of amenities in the room: - mini fridge - hair dryer - full sized ironing board - alarm clock - in room Phone - desk w/ chair - plenty of outlets w/ built-in USB ports - plenty of off the floor storage - nice size elegant shower with a wall mount dispensary of dove shampoo, conditioner & body wash in the shower. - nice lighting that brightens up the room at night and a large window for lots of natural light during the day. - very nice blackout shade that actually blocks out light if you want to sleep during the day - a privacy shade if want light but not be on display tomthe world Things that were not in the room (and honestly we didn't miss them with one exception:) - mini coffee pot - microwave - ice bucket - closets - carpet - comfortable chair (we did miss this) Other amenities on the property: - an okay gym - grass for walking your dog w/ waste bags provided - continental breakfast - fresh ground coffee in the lobby - nice seating areas in the lobby / breakfast area Other things missing: - pool & hot tub"

"My stay at Avid Beaumont exceeded my expectations. The room was very clean upon arrival, excellent front staff (Vincent) who was very accommodating and friendly! Breakfast was excellent (simple but filling) and the entire aura of the hotel was welcoming and modern. I loved my stay and you will too!"

"Second time staying here. The rooms were nice, quiet and clean. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Decent breakfast. Will definitely stay here again when I come to Beaumont."
