"The manager Eko banned me from staying there because the guest that came and visited me in my hotel decided he was trying to go crazy and threaten my life and take over my hotel room... I was carefully able to pack my stuff and get out of the room unharmed and I went to the front desk and told them what happened they were trying to get me to get him out... I was scared and in shock so I left ..He had held a knife to my throat 3 times. I kept in touch with the guy working at night and he said they crazy dude had finally been made to leave.... So I went back and got my room .. the next morning she said I was banned from the property because I put her employees at risk!!! I was the guest !!!! I wouldn't stay there again if I was paid too.."

"If this is the last place available for lodging, MY DOG AND I WILL SLEEP IN MY CAR!!! This was the most horrible experience ever! This used to be the nicest place years ago! I usually stay at the Avid now, but they were booked so Red Roof was the only other pet friendly hotel I knew of. I checked in Friday February 23rd, and there was a leak from a toilet on the 2nd floor and there was water covering the carpet in front of the elevatorin the lobby! And then when I got to my room I had to spray for BUGS! I Microbaned the place and used Clorox wipes and still would not let my dog out to walk on the nasty carpet! I left and didn't come back til the next day. Saturday the 24th I came back to a parking lot of 5 POLICE CARS! There were guys in handcuffs and the front desk girl said there was 'a disturbance'. I was so grossed out by the room, I covered the bed with my own blankets and tried to rest. The next morning I checked out at 9am, returned to Houston and had to go to the hospital for breathing treatments because the room and carpet smelled horrible! I have my documentation to back up everything I'm saying. And might I add they don't ask you how your stay was when you check out because they don't care. And there is no certificate of compliance that I could see in the rickety elevator either. I want ALL of my money back for this ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!"

"(Do not go to this hotel). This hotel was a very bad experience we had to change rooms because of dysfunctional bathrooms and there were cokroaches everywhere I do have to say the front desk lady was very nice accommodating for anything we needed but other then that it was filthy and terrifying. Couldn't get any sleep as the beds were uncomfortable. Ac didn't work sheets had red stains on them god this hotel is bad. For your own sake don't go here."

"My daughter rented a room on October 20 2023 to October 22 2023. The room and hallway were dirty and Saturday while trying to get ready for her wedding a roach ran across her foot. She took a picture of the roach. When we went to talk to the lady in the lobby she was rude and could care less of what was going on. Needless to say they didn't stay Saturday night after the wedding. This is not an old hotel so it shouldn't be nasty like it was. I'm very disappointed in them. We will never use Red Roof again and also never recommend it to anyone. Mother of the bride"

"Was looking for extended stay accommodations. We were between homes at the time. Echo was very sweet and worked with me on price and location. I was very disappointed with the rooms. They were very small and showed much wear. The kitchenette was a joke. I could not see me being there for a week, much less for a month or more. We were able to be refunded and leave. Since we had been inside the room and brought a few of our things in, we were charged for one night. Which turned out to be OK. Our son was able to go back and stay for the night and get a fresh start home in the morning."
