MCM Elegante Hotel

"This is my first time staying here. Upon check in we observed how the lobby needed to be brightened and updated and how the windows needed to be seriously cleaned. Our check-in went very smooth and the young man was very polite and professional. We loved the lay out of our suit and the cleanliness of it. The furniture is kinda old, but we’ll kept. I would stay here again and I would recommend it. IT IS MY HOPE THAT A FEW DOLLARS BE INVESTED IN THE NEEDED AREAS TO MAKE THIS A MORE ATTRACTIVE AND INVITING PLACE TO STAY. JUST SOME COSMETIC ATTENTION."

"MCM Elegante is not so "elegante". Check in process was ok that didn't bother me so much. What does bother me is that if I didn't use the Swinging Bar Door Guard, anyone could get into the room if they just pushed hard enough. Also I called the restaurant downstairs to order a pizza and they told me it would take 15 minutes to be ready. Theodosha was the one working at cashier's desk and taking care of another couple. I was given the "what do you need?" and then dealt with an unfriendly interaction that resulted in me just paying for the pizza. Mind you, I waited 20 minutes from me giving the initial order to go downstairs. Then I waited an additional 20 minutes before I finally asked where my food was. It was given to me cold. The couple in front of me still hadn't received their food. To top it off, the pizza doesn't even taste good. Needless to say, this will be my last time staying here and I'm super disappointed."

"Location is great. Hotel needs huge upgrade. I felt truly unsafe in the cabana room with balcony due to 1.5” inch gap under room door, big enough for anything to crawl underneath or someone to see and/or stick a camera or anything under the door to unlock it. I don’t think I’d stay here again. The breakfast was decent and had decent service and the view from the balcony was nice. Yet, without feeling safe, that doesn’t mean much of anything. Bathrooms small and furniture had stains. Curtains and furniture was dusty. Doors slam all night waking you up. Thin walls whereas I could hear what the people next door was watching and talking about."

"Well for starters are experience checking in was ok. The employees at the front desk did not look friendly. We arrived to our door and it looked like someone had chipped away the wood on the door frame. Did not make me feel safe. I checked out the bed and found a big pink spot on the bed skirt. Looked at the other bed and bed skirt and it had little black spots on it. Even the desk chair had a white powdery spot on it. Not looking good. Air conditioner/heater was broke. My mother n laws room was dusty and we found long pieces of hair and tiny little black bugs crawling on the blanket on the bed. Paint on the walls and on ceiling baseboards had paint peeling of the walls and dirty corners in the room. Not looking good again. So all in all we both got new rooms and they where not much better. Very outdated and by this time I was very uncomfortable and the atmosphere made me feel itchy and I was very dissatisfied. O and by the way upstairs was noisy. Sounds of little feet running around. By this time I was upset and almost ready to gather my things and drive 2 hours back home in the dark. I would not recommend this hotel. I know I won’t be back!"

"Someone else booked a room for me at the Elegante Hotel. I would recommend the patio room, the sight isn't an eyesore at night. They also give complimentary buffet styled Breakfast. The food wasn't too bad. However, definitely not anything I would spend my money on. Other than that I would stay again!"
