"I love the vans shirts, but I’m a big guy and wear 2XL. The store in Auburn WA had only one shirt in my size and it was light purple. Asked the sales guy and he said they didn’t have any. So disappointed, I’ve owned more than 50 in the last few years. Love the thickness in the shirts. Too bad the new styles are apparently only for thinner people now"

"I actually walked in a few minutes before closing time not even realizing the mall was closing at 8pm! The staff were so nice I still didn’t realize they had completely closed. I’m so glad because I really needed to find the shoes I’d purchased that day and had been looking for the perfect pair to paint for over a week! "I used to buy Vans all the time back in the late 90s through the late 2000s, when they had the DC-style skate shoes, but since they stopped making those, I've just resorted to cheapo Costco shoes and wearing my work boots. I'm glad I stopped into the Vans store recently, though. I took a while and dug through shoes, and saw some stuff that was comfortable and we're a step up from what I saw the last time I went to Vans. I've grown partial to a boot look over the years, but my boots don't go well with shorts. Though I found that a hi-top might work."
