Although we decided to rent at a different property, I wanted to let her know that out of the many listing agents we’ve met during our apartment search, you were the most thorough. "Existing resident and love my complex. My only dislikes are the appliances. Outdated or cheap. Dishwasher doesn't work well at all. Washing machine is so loud and moves the whole apartment. However, I adore the staff and Mic is a gem. Any issues I have get resolved very quickly. The office staff is great."

"1 star for Parkwood Apartments. Zero if possible. The property itself is quite pretty, but... Carla Merker, the leasing agent, acts nice when you have no issues at all, but treats tenants like children. She seems to get irritated if you ask her about any rules, like she hates to be questioned. I wish she would just listen to what I have to say sometimes? She does not have any patience and is extremely confrontational. She comes off like "I'm the boss and you're my tenant." It is a very stressful environment to live in. If you're thinking of living here, realize that she lives on the premises too... You probably want to ask if she is still working here before deciding to stay here."

"Cheap/Old appliances: laundry machine is very loud. Really, really loud... It spins like a hurricane... Dish washer does not clean well - even set at the highest level, the dishes are left dirty. Oftentimes we have to run the machine twice for proper clean. We didn't think to check the model numbers of the appliances prior to moving in, but now regret it. You have to flush toilets twice or three times for the poop to fully go down. It does go down eventually, but still... Hot water is spotty and often times goes ice cold to blazing hot in an instant. For the price of rent, I was surprised by the low quality. You can do much better elsewhere"

"I have just moved in for few days and I really love my apartment here at Parkwood. The neighbourhood is very quiet, safe and perfect for anyone with a dog. The management team is professional and helpful, especially Carla and Gabby. Gabby gave us a very nice tour about Parkwood and Carla handled our application as well as other move in issues. They are very friendly and always answered my questions, clear and responsive! I will share more after I spend more time here. Anyway, it's a good start!"
