Homewood Suites by Hilton Long Beach Airport

"I was very disappointed in my recent stay. I booked a room for Sunday night and was there for personal business. The room next to me was filled with young adults drinking and smoking. They were extremely loud and playing music. Thumping furniture on the walls etc. I called the front office at 11:30pm the first time and nothing happened. Front office stated security came "but didnt hear anything". I called a second time at 12:30pm and asked for options. I offered to move rooms as I needed to get rest. Nothing was offered to me. Front office came to my neighbors door and ask them to quiet down the second time, but no other options given to me. The party continued until 4:30am. I finally got out of my room and knocked on their door to personally ask them to shut it off. They finally shut down the party at 5:00am. I got a total of 2 hours of sleep before having to wake up and carry on with my travels. I was exhausted. I will never stay here again. No one at this hotel seemed to care about my complaint or the fact that these young adults were mascaradeing through the halls at 2:00am. Very very dissapointed."

"America is getting more and more expensive!! I am all about luxury and service and Homewood Suites is exactly that! This particular location is combined with Hampton Inn. From the plush furniture, breakfast and amenities this place has it all. The price however is too expensive. I also noticed they have pushed the check in time to 4pm! and the check out time is still 11pm?] WHY? We are getting less and less value and paying more. I appreciate the courtesy and professionalism of the staff but to the corporate you have to give customers MORE!!! If we paying $170 for one night the check in time should be earlier or check out time later. Matter of fact why dont you just lower this ridiculous prices...."

"I stay in hotels frequently and this location has the best, most professional, and courteous staff I've ever encountered. Consistently went above and beyond. Rosie was so thoughtful and engaged. I encountered her as the shuttle driver, the front desk, and throughout the facility and she was always smiling."

"Stayed here overnight before a cruise. The room was fabulous. The breakfast was good and the service was very helpful. There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby"

"Manager woman is absolutely frustrating and unhelpful. Facility is maintained pretty badly. Bathroom is missing shower curtain, refrigerator has rusts on shelves, kitchen utensils are thrown messy inside kitchen cabinet, there is no net over kitchen sink though there is a food grinder built-in making it dangerous. My family brought these issues cordially so we enjoy values promised by Homewood Suites by Hilton at price we paid for. During three encounters with her, bringing these issues to her attention, she makes up excuses as to why facility didnt get these issues right. In the end, she didn't even fulfill some of the promise she made to fix them. Visitors really shouldnt be bothered with comments like facility being bought up by Hilton and their requirements differ from what facility has, staffs who can do this is not available right now, there is no room available now that has bathtub, she kept going on and on for each issues while denying every request I make. She just kept on proving how bismally failing she is at customer service and managing. Every conversation with her made me feel like my family are unwelcomed. In stark contrast, other staffs who are there when manager was off were very kind and attentive. My expectation about Homewood Suites have drastically lowered after this visit, and I would not consider staying at all."
