"We came into Long Beach a day early for our cruise and stayed at The Cove. The hotel staff is very nice and we had a comfortable nights stay! I would stay here again. Only reason I have 4 stars is because they don’t have a continental breakfast that’s included but they do have a cafe where you can purchase breakfast and dinner"
"Mauricio the night manager should not be in the hospitality industry. Horrible attitude would not recommend. No to mention they don't tell loud guest to keep it down. My brother had to change rooms at 1:30 AM due to the noise and lack of management intervention. And yes "Sunshyne" Owner we are at the right place. I stayed in 106. Take responsibility for your employees and lack of guest comfort. P.S. bed was terrible!!! On the plus, rooms are clean and spacious. Thank you Rosa L. For your hard work. Left you a well deserved tip."
"Had to switch rooms at 1:30am because we ended up next to "honeymooners". Loud music wasn't the only thing we were hearing. My wife and I ended up with a room with two separate beds. What an inconvenience. Will raise this complaint to upper management in thr morning. Rooms are spacious and big, the only plus side. But you can hear everything. Not recommend."
"This is a hidden gem of a hotel. Great place to stay the night before our cruise. The hotel is very secure, friendly staff, and has a great pool. The rooms are updated and very spacious they have everything you need. This is where we will stay every time we come to Longbeach!"
"The hotel was clean, but that's about the only good thing I can say. The pillows are flat, bed was uncomfortable, and the biggest downfall was that there was no blackout curtain in our room. I've never stayed in a hotel before without a blackout curtain. The room was super bright because it faced the parking lot full of lights. No complimentary coffee in the lobby. There is a small coffee bar in the lobby where you can get fancy coffee drinks, but you would think that regular coffee would be complimentary."
