"If you are a history junkie like me, then you will satisfy your itch if you stay here. Your stay will take you back, as the ship/hotel is rich in history, with lots of opportunity to conduct your own self tour of the ship, see historical artifacts and be fully engulfed in a treasure. There are some shops, some restaurants, and a coffee shop as well. The decor definitely takes you back to the early days and you feel as if you were transported back in time. The staff is kind, engaging, and welcoming. All were very professional, and even the cleaning crew will smile and proactively say hello or good morning. Makes you feel a sense of warmth. The rooms were my only downside, although I have to remember it is an old ship. Walls are paper thin, thus, you hear everything going on in your neighbors' rooms next door. There is no heating, and it was a bit cold still bding winter by the water, although the staff does let you know beforehand, and offer extra blankets which I took advantage of. There were no power outlets that I could find in my room with the exception of my restroom, thus, had to take my cell in there for charging. There additionally is not a shelf big enough to hold my grooming bag, thus, had to set it on my mini table underneath the TV. There is no in room coffee, although, they do give you a couple of water bottles."

"My wife and I did the Queen Mary "Haunted Encounter Tour" with Mr. Bill as our tour guide. Even when we did this tour at 10:30 am and with a small group, Bill was still able to spook us with the ghost stories of this ship. Bill narrated very well and the fact that you actually go into the rooms/parts of the ship where the ghost stories happened made this a worthwhile tour! It was definitely an amazing experience. We also toured the parts of the ship on our own and man, the ship's intricate engine room and the Finest Hours part of the ship were amazing as well! Added bonus: when you do the tour, you can also ask the staff to keep your luggage for the interim and they would store it in a locked room for free!"

"We did the self guided tour during their Off-Hours and it was great way to spend a few hours. We enjoyed exploring the vessel at our leisure. Kids were kept entertained with all the different levels and stairs. Parking was $25 which seems a bit much, plenty of room available. Our favorite part was the engine room. I would have enjoyed seeing the staterooms- I'm not sure if they're tourable"

"Came for a Haunted Tavern cocktail event. We arrived an hour early to enjoy a peruse around the ship & have a drink before our event. I should have made it 2 hours! We had no time to have drink at bar but loved the walk about. I love history & the ship has so much to see. Our event was a fun cocktail story telling experience. I want to return for more exploration & drinks at bar however I am a budgeted retired lady & $25.00 to park the car annoys me. Got to find a work around!"

"we had the BEST time here. incredible, once in a lifetime experience stepping straight onto a historic time capsule. the staff was amazing and accommodating. we ate at the restaurant and the food was delicious and our waitress was amazing. the on board gift shop was so cute and wandering around the ship was very fun. we stayed overnight and our room was everything we hoped it would be. everyone needs to visit the Queen herself."
