"The lobby area appears updated and pleasant, but the room, especially the bathroom, feels outdated and old. I was surprised by the number of drain flies I encountered during my stay. Despite its great and convenient location near the convention center, I’ll likely opt for a different hotel next time."
"Had some issues with my room at first, but got a new room easily and right away. The $25 food credit from the resort fee is great given that the hotel has a pretty awesome and reasonably priced menu for their restaurant. Navy Proof was definitely the highlight, great food, great drinks and great service."
"After arriving from a long travel it was a shame to find very noisy rooms with some of the worst sound proofing I’ve had, even on the top floor noise from street level easily heard? Blind and curtains need renewing with several other customers having same complaint of very difficult to operate and leaving large gaps (not blackout). Service from cafe was good & decent food options. Rooms not ready despite a 7pm arrival which I struggle with as hotel was nowhere near sold out?"
"Yes, the hotel is conveniently located for activities. However, at the end of my stay, my car was broken into in their parking structure. The staff was polite about it, but didn't say or do anything to even apologize for the experience. They wrote down my details on a blank piece of paper and acted like nothing like this had ever happened before. I didn't realize it when I was there, but the door had been damaged by the person who broke in. So I'm paying $500 for the repair and thankfully my insurance is covering the rest. The room was fine and staff was polite. But I would not trust this hotel with my car or claim this hotel is safe."
"This, was hands down the best stay I’ve had in several years. Five star all the way! Maribel at the front desk was so pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable at check in and check out. Our room was perfect, best night sleep! Our server at breakfast was Benny and was the best server we have had in ages, same for David our server for dinner just so attentive and pleasant! The craft cocktails at the bar are on point, so good and the food was amazing. Do not miss the eggs Benedict for breakfast and definitely don’t miss the Nashville wings and Kobe Sliders! This stay was perfection and this will be our go to place in Long Beach from now on!"
