"I’m going on 3 months of residency here, and I’ve been informed by maintenance management that it is “usual” for the furnace in my townhouse to be chugging along at 55°, blowing out cold air over a couple of days during “extended cold spells”. From this, one can conclude at least one of few things. 1) The furnace is undersized for the load it’s supposed to carry, whether it is due to poor insulation or the inadequate output of the furnace itself. 2) This situation is so commonplace that Maintenance management is so confident of the symptoms that they don’t have reservations pushing any investigation of the issue out until a more convenient time for them. 3) Buckingham creates an environment where Maintenance management does not feel empowered to resolve issues that need to be resolved to ensure adequate heating is provided at all times in complicate with IC-32-31-8-5. 4) Maintenance is understaffed, undertrained and unfamiliar with Indiana Code 5) Maintenance management does not take its duties seriously. This is an unfortunate situation, given that I just started renting here and was hoping to not have to move again for 4-5 years. I will not be renewing given that this is “usual” enough to not warrant immediate attention from your team. If this persists beyond the next few hours expect a formal notice of failure to comply with IC, which will be interpreted as a constructive eviction, seeking to recover damages, including the cost of legal expenses. Before your AI auto-replies to me: I’m supposed to pay over $24,000 this year in rent alone to live here, I am not interested in litigating this with your office or property management staff. 2 stars because the unit is kinda nice when it’s livable, but it takes willpower to deny the scent of water clearly running behind walls in some unknown areas, and without visual evidence, well, you can see what kind of case someone would have to go through to have this management team take it seriously. There is now an unshakable feeling that this property is probably full of units on the periphery of unlivable at all times."

"nice apartment complex but maintenance is horrible. I called Mergency maintenance because of my window is open and won’t close and it’s -5 degrees out and I have an infant they don’t respond or give you a call back. I had to be freezing in my home and cuddle up my baby. Insane!!"

"I have stayed there for 5 years, the only good thing it has is the location, everything else mostly is negative. To name a few: 1. Overpriced apartment, they will increase your rent during renewal by $100 minimum and even for few folks it could be $200 or more as well, even though the same apartment they might be offering at much lesser price in the market. 2. Most of the time, there are plumbing issues, water wastage and you may have to foot the bill through increased utility bills. Often water is shutdown without any notice to the residents. 3. Renovation is going on for 4 months making the area dirty. 4. They will not let go a single chance to fine you even though its not mentioned in the lease. Also they will not provide any evidence of what wrong you have done. If you are attorney then only you can fight them 5. Spiders and ants roam everywhere in the apartment, they take pest control money, but its an on-demand thing, not done on regular basis. 6. Forget about security deposit, when you move out they will not let go of any opportunity to charge you even though you are not at fault. Doesn't matter how much clean apartment you are handing to them. to summarize, when you are looking to rent the apartment, they will mesmerize you with their sweet talks, but once you become a tenant you will be a second class citizen and they will use you like a tissue paper, many of the times sending you threatening emails for fines. Recommendation stay far far away from this apartment if you can."
