"I have had the best experience. Communication has been prompt and excellent. I had a repair need and it was done same day with great communication. Joey is fantastic, he responds the same day, his communication is prompt and always professional. I love this complex is so dog friendly and the location is unbeatable. I am amazed the insulation of the apartment. I’m on the floor level and have not heard the apartment above me once or my neighbors across from me. I highly recommend this complex."

"I needed a quick move in and Joey in the leasing office went above and beyond to help make it happen, staying late in a Friday. I chose Carmel Landings over others because I wanted family friendly place for me and my boys, and because Joey's enthusiasm was infectious. It felt like a community. Maintenance is prompt and helpful, it's pretty quiet overall, safe. I think my only complaint is that the pool closes for the winter too early in the season."

"Overall, living at Carmel landing has been a massive headache. My unit has an unbelievable amount of problems, photos of which I will GLADLY provide along with this review. 1) all of the appliances are the cheapest and worst I’ve ever seen. The dishwasher doesn’t wash dishes, the fridge doesn’t close securely unless you tape it, it also opens the freezer door when you close the fridge door 2) the toilets are full to the top with water and barely have any flush power. Maintenance says they’re all like this. 3) I made a whole list of things that needed to be fixed when we moved in and a lot has not been addressed (I’m in my second year living here) due to understaffing. 4) they force you to pay for valet living trash service - check out the reviews on Google for Valet living. If you’re okay with being forced to pay $400 a year for a service you don’t receive, then you will love valet living! 5) front office staff I feel like give lip service. I’ve heard “ I can appreciate that” in response to my concerns and frustrations too many times to count, with no REAL and lasting change. 6) massive ant and pest problem. When I tell maintenance about this they just say pest guy will spray Thursdays. I’ve seen him TWICE my entire time living here. 7) floors are peeling up, walls are mysteriously bowing, ceilings are cracked, siding is sliding off and falling off the outside of the buildings. Our entire kitchen cabinets are crooked, rough cuts on the doors, closet tracks were carpeted over and never fixed so closet doors swing freely. Landlord special paint job and horribly patched walls all over. Carmel Landing is owned by a firm (BH management) and it SHOWS in the lack of care and the way this complex is literally crumbling. It’s a totally undignified place to live and I’m very unhappy here. Don’t move here!"
