"Contacted office multiple times about leak from the bathtub into the kitchen ceiling. The City of Troy wrote it up twice and it still hasn’t been fixed, water is pouring through and mold is present. This is grounds for uninhabitable living conditions. Dishwasher has been broken since August and a replacement was promised by management but still has not been delivered 6 months later. Stove door shattered today after turning the stove on. Doors are falling off of tracks because of uneven walls. These units could be great if care was taken by the property to fix underlying issues."

"I moved in to these apartments in October. I have still not had a fully functioning washer or dryer since I moved in. I've had to spend $50-70/week on washing our family of 4 clothes for work and school. On top of paying 1500 in rent...I've lived in other apartments before and I've never had it take this long for repairs to get done especially with rent being so high. This is crazy and I'm wasting so much money on the laundry mat when I chose this place because of having washing in the apartment. They called me and said they'd get it fixed yesterday afternoon. I came home that night thinking I could do laundry only to realize nothing was fixed. So, now today I can't get anyone to answer so I guess heading to the laundry mat again"

"The property management on Rochester Villas is horrible. The website that you used to use to pay monthly stopped working. I called multiple times to try and get help on my issue but as well as my not working dishwasher that I had for more than half of my lease. Reported multiple times and finally fixed after 7 months, but coming back to my original issue. I was charged over 200 dollars of late fees because they wouldn't help me fix my issue and take off the late fees. I ended up paying for the late fees after finally making another account in another website. It is the hardest thing to reach the support office phone, they never answer and the staff keeps changing every month leaving me with questions if the new staff is rightly trained to deal with the issues at hand because I've had different answers every time I personally show at the office. Currently happy with the house even though when I need help with something it takes months to take care of. If the location wasn't good I would've moved just because the service offered here."

"Been here five years, management has changed a few times but overall the buildings and complex are well maintained. Where RV has really fallen off is customer service. I had put a maintenance request over a month ago to have the downstairs toilet fixed, I called and spoke with Rashida and asked what's the delay. She said she'd talk to maintenance and asked for permission to enter, I said that's fine I'm home today, she said "well if we can't get to it today can we get permission to enter?" I said sure on Monday and she said "well no, there's a lot of requests so I can't guarantee Monday but do we have permission to enter?" I said that I had heard this a month ago, that there was a long line, and in the intervening 2 months RV had no problem cashing my check in full, so when do I get my unit in full? She hung up. I called back and explained that I had another issue, she snapped that she was done with our call but what was it? It was to remind them that over a month ago I also requested that someone's bike be removed from being chained to the post I park next to, I have to dodge the bike every day. She said OK and hung up. Absolutely most unprofessional customer-facing person I've dealth with here, everyone else has been great. RV, get on top of your maintenance and get your officer people trained. Update: Office Manager Elizabeth called me an hour later to apologize and sent the Service Manager David directly over, where he determined a replacement toilet was needed and I'll have it early next week! I appreciate the professional and prompt response."

"This is the worst place to live. It is not safe, it is dirty. Although you pay the rent to live with your family you have to share the unit with thousands of different insects.The unit is too old, restrooms are dirty, the kitchen was falling into pieces, fridge was dirty and smelly and oven has never been cleaned in more than 15 years. Every year they ask for a higher rent while nothing is done to improve the units. Staff is not polite neither helpful while sometimes when it comes to maintenance they even lie to you as they have bit enough people maybe. And on top of everything they do not give back the security deposit even if u do nothing to the unit. They stop replying to emails, ignoring you as renters are not important or not worth replying back. My car was damaged twice there and nothing was done at least they should have security cameras. You can smell weed all the time even close to places where kids play. This is the worst place to live and the most disrespectful people work there."
