"I didn’t end up moving here but I came here to give Laura (leasing agent) a 5 star review. She was so amazing and so good at her job. She is incredibly passionate and upbeat, and really wants to help you. Definitely book a tour with Laura if you’re looking into this place."

"I just moved in to Somerset Apartments a week ago, and the leasing agent are fabulous and very professional, and do a great job! Maintenance comes within a half an hour to my apartment to address what needs to be fixed! What a great complex and community to live in! I’m on the second floor, and I’ve never felt safer. I have three locks on my door. I would highly recommend this complex the amenities the property is immaculate and clean."

"Don’t waste your money on this place if you can find apt somewhere else. They raise rent like crazy every year. I’ve never missed a month of paying my rent. I was told by Monica that the reason why they keep raising my rent on me was because they wanted me out of this unit. Last year, a kitchen cabinet almost fell on me while cooking, the closet pantry are poorly installed (would constantly fall out of place), and the water in the the toilet runs constantly if you don’t shake the handle after flushing. They do not try to satisfy their customer at all, especially if you’re in a unit that is not renovated, but will keep raising rent. They constantly threaten you to do thing or else they’ll charge you fees. This place is a money eater, and the staff is horrible! When I first moved here they were nice, but after loosing some employees in their office, the new ones aren’t nice nor is helpful ( Heather & Monica). Heather and I had emails back and forth and in an email I told her that I will not renew my lease and may rent month to month ( this email was sent 60 days prior to the end of my lease). I also, asked her to confirm if the email will be sufficient and she respond yes but never told me that she will still be charging me 1/2 day rent for each days missed within the 60 days notice for emailing her only and that the vacate form is still needed. I found this out about two weeks after to ask how long will I have to let them know that I won’t do month to month after my lease ends. To shorten this up, she of course won’t waive the charge, and is trying to come up with excuses like I wasn’t clear to her, and she didn’t know what I was going to do. Honestly, if she would try to help rather then just trying to getting me sign a new lease then she would understand. Overall experience, unless the current employees change, DON’T rent from Somerset if you can find rent somewhere else. When they know you’re going to leave they will find every way to make money from you, and customer service sucks- they do not try to satisfy their customers like they say."

"We just moved from our 2 bed 1 bath apartment of 2 1/2 years. Leasing staff is fantastic, Monica is my favorite person, very understanding and supportive of her tenants. Maintenance is very timely, the only complaints I had with our apartment were out of the complexes control with bad neighbors and missing packages, however they do allow for your own security cameras for your doors as long as it’s not hard wired in"

"I was a resident of Somerset park apartments for more then 2 years. Everything was good except their lease breaking policy. Literally 3 month’s advance notice. Rent increases every year more then 5% compared to other near by apartments. Water bill is divided among the entire community so even if you don’t use a single drop of water for entire year , still you have to pay water bill. Heat is also extra through consumer energy. Trash also extra which comes around $60. Overall costly apartments"
