That’s more of a selling point than anything. But Ben, and the other staff whose names I can’t remember off hand are always so good to us!!! Love this place! This Red Roof in Troy in particular!!!"
"I've had stay here a lot lately and have stayed in different rooms and have never seen any bugs. Beds are comfortable. If there was any problems Armani the GM and Essie at the front desk took care of it right away. This place has really improved."
"At a Red Roof Inn, you know exactly what you're getting. That said, they could do a better job here. The sheets were clean but the comforter had a cigarette burn. There was a sizeable hole in the wall towards the bottom. The toilet was clean, but stained. The front desk people were friendly and the location is fantastic (and safe, Troy is a very nice suburb) and the price was super cheap. But a little more effort to maintain the rooms could go a long way. I'm fine with basic bare bones at a red roof but I think a clean room should be a must no matter what hotel it is."
"We checked in. Was "upgraded" free of charge becuase the room type we booked was unavailable. When we walked in there was a huge brown spot on the comforter and when we peeled back the sheets there was a cigarette burn in the sheets and into the mattress. Which proves they washed nothing in between guests. The "desk" in the room was so crooked that a ball would roll off at a high rate of speed. No breakfast. No coffee maker in room. Bathroom was gross."
