Hilton Garden Inn Orlando North/Lake Mary

"Pretty decent place to stay. Im staying here for a week for gm training, and checking in with the app was simple, and it had my digital key ready as well, so i didn't have to go to the front desk at all. Rooms are cozy and spacious. The only thing i didn't really care for was the breakfast. It was overcooked a little, and the TVs could use updating to a smart tv. Other than that, it's not bad."

"We stayed 2 nights for my sons wedding across the street. We had 2 hotel options to book with but unfortunately chose Garden inn. We had Multiple families and all had same complaint. Staff was very rude and not helpful. No Heat in all rooms (42 deg out). We had no extra bedding even though I was in a suite that slept more that 4. I was charged more then room rate because the suites are not listed on site. The smaller rooms are and had that rate changed since wedding party was quoted more than advertised. Do not trust pricing. I was also charged for a room I reserved for family member. They did not ask for a card and just checked them out using my info. The lights were broken causing problems getting ready. Toilet ran always. Stay at Hilton next door. They were very nice. Rooms are bigger, cheaper and free breakfast. Staff was nicer too. Received what I guess now was a generic text asking how the stay was going. I told them and I still haven't received their response. So with that I warn others staying in the area for an event across the street."

"One must love the old bait and switch. You agree to $152 a night and then when you check your bill you have a couple nights that are $189 a night. To which I never agreed. In addition, had a terrible experience with the breakfast, as a Goldmember, I receive a food credit. Which in this case was never applied, despite multiple attempts to clarify, to clear it up. My door lock was not functioning properly, so I had to have a key remade several times, finally went down again because it wasn't working the front desk clerk attempted to make me feel stupid for not knowing how to use a hotel door. As she stormed up to the door to show me how to do it. It didn't work for her either. The sink was broken in my room. As someone who is in a hotel room, five nights a week 50 weeks a year this has been my worst experience yet There are numerous lodging choices in the area. I highly recommend that you look at and alternative option."

"Rooms are clean, and linens and pillows were in good repair though on the whole I would say the hotel is due for a refresh! The club chair in our room had upholstery that was quite pilled, the garden tub fixtures were very worn and the wood trim in the room had quite a few dings. We didn't use the pool or any other services so can't comment. The price was very reasonable, and location convenient for our visit."

"This hotel seemed great when booking online. It was convenient for the wedding I was working across the street. The problems I had are; 1 there was a dried up, dead frog on the bathroom floor upon arrival, the room smelled musty and of cigarettes, the Air Conditioning in the hallway was off and/or broken. The hallway itself was 80-90 degrees. The Air Conditioning in our room blows cold air but the room does not cool. We had adjusted the unit down to 66 on Cool and the room was extremely hot. My 5 year and a 2 year old were sweating through their clothes so they slept in their underwear/diaper. My husband and I slept on top of the covers due to the heat. When checking in, our cards were declined despite having funds in the account. We tried another card through the same account and it worked fine. Breakfast vouchers were given due to the card issue. I have always heard and experienced great things with Hilton Hotels but this was just low grade quality in my opinion. The Hyatt across the street charged less for that same night, we would have been better off booking with them. I'm rating this hotel a 2/10 because the staff was nice and they tried their best to rectify the issues that they could. Other than that, this hotel is 1-2 stars at best."
