Reviews
"great place to live, lived there for a year and miss it. great roof!"
"I have a long time friend who resides in this residence. They offer a wide array of amenities like gym on the second floor, lots of barbecue grilling stations on the outdoor hangout area, yoga on the roof, cold storage, 24/7 doorman, cabana chairs on the rooftop."
"Beautiful building with a great rooftop, friendly staff, doormen at all times, gym, parking garage, and bike parking garage. In the apartments the appliances are solid and floors are nice bamboo. Apartments that face east have the best view — of the East River and surrounding projects. Rent is high and rising fast, as is to be expected. It’s a 15-minute walk to the two closest subway stations (2nd Avenue and Essex St). There’s a van that runs in the morning and evening between Bleecker and The Adele. Very useful for commuters if you can time it right."
"I lived in the Adele for two years and was just forced to move out due to a discovered mold issue. Through inspections, it was found that large amounts of harmful molds were found in the washing machine, HVAC units and return vents. The inspection report recommended that since this mold was found in the HVAC and return vents that the entire building's HVAC system should be thoroughly cleaned. Also, there is visible water damage in the window sills in both the apartment I was living in as well as the window sills in the hallway. These are also likely places for mold. Management has known of this issue and has yet to make any moves to alert tenants or to make proper remediations."
