"Such a great hotel for a weekend trip! Small but functional and very clean (and safe!) and the staff was so kind and helpful! Also a great location if you don’t want to stay in a super loud part of town but still want to be able to walk to shop and sight see!!"

"Stayed at Sonder Duane Street for 5 nights over New Year 23/24. Absolutely loved the place. We had a great corner room on the third floor. The room and facilities were great. Location is amazing. Chamber Street subway is just up the street, Brooklyn Bridge 10 minute wall away. Loads of great bars and restaurants in the area. Would highly recommend."
"Very nice hotel, room was clean and large for a NY hotel. Hard wood floor which is nice and bathroom was good size too. Very quiet and couldn’t hear noise from street or other rooms. Very close to some of the best restaurants and subway 1 block away too. Very friendly staff and helpful. Great stay overall!"
"I love this place. The staff were fabulous. The market one block away was awesome and I got some hyacinth there and put them in the room for my one week stay and just loved it. This is a smallish off-brand hotel. The room was just right for one person. A few little glitches, the elevator got caught, they fixed it within 2 hours; the smoke alarm went off after I took a long hot shower; they fixed it right away; the temperature thingy on the wall that regulates temp did not work but they were on it. I loved it all anyway. A real place with real people. Amazing location for my work. Got a week pass at Crunch Gym couple of blocks away. I'll go back to the Sonder for my next trip to NYC."
