"Location of arrest of Soviet spy Rudolf Abel, real name William August Fisher (11 July 1903 – 15 November 1971. At 7:00 am on 21 June 1957, Fisher answered a knock on the door to his room, Room 839.[52] Upon opening the door, he was confronted by FBI agents who addressed him as "colonel" and stated that they had "information concerning [his] involvement in espionage." Fisher knew that the FBI's use of his rank could have only come from Häyhänen. Fisher said nothing to the FBI and, after spending twenty-three minutes staring at Fisher, the FBI agents called in the waiting Immigration and Naturalization Service officers who arrested Fisher and detained him under section 242 of the Immigration and Nationality Act.[51]"
"Pictures are a lie. One bathroom for the entire floor. Room was scary. Cheap and convenient location but had I known this is what I was paying for I would not have booked. Gross!"
"The pictures that they show are a lie, they are in the process of re-renovating the building . There’s holes in the walls in the place is really dirty . And the room is really SMALL! They should have this hotel buliding shut down until they finsh re-renovating the building. NOBODY should be living or staying in a place like that.ZERO STARS"
"There was critters in most of the rooms when I was there, but they may have got it together as of writing this. Very small rooms, there was a few call-girls at the hotel, but the staff was very nice. Very helpfull with everything and a very cheery bunch."
