"Bellmen were awesome!! We were told we had a 6th St view when we made our reservation several months ago, and were given a room with NO view.... literally, our "view" was pipes and an a/c unit! We couldn't see anything outside! We were turned away for breakfast at the main restaurant at 10:20 am when breakfast was served til 10:30 am. We asked for washcloths several days, and each time were only given 2. We had 3 of us in the room. The bar was very busy at 10:55 pm on a FRIDAY night and we were told it closes at 11. They said we could get a drink to take to our room. The bar also did not offer coffee for my drink (I wanted an Irish coffee) on a cold night. I thought that was odd. Beds were super uncomfortable (super soft mattresses and small flat pillows)."

"The Warwick is a lovely hotel with an interesting history. The rooms are quiet and the beds are comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The surface impressions are great. Once you get deeper into your stay, the cracks start to show. The tub didn't drain, there was dried coffee on the table that remained through my 4 day visit. The lighted mirror in the bathroom didn't work and housekeeping left a half-used container of conditioner left over from someone else for me to use. They didn't refill the cream or sugar for coffee, twice. On the desk, they posted a full menu with a phone number for the restaurant to call for pick-up but they are only open for breakfast. There is no room service or food available after 11am. The worst thing was finding two cockroaches and the duvet smelled like human sweat. I would not recommend this hotel."

"I do inspections at the building. I've seen the inner workings there and know how much work goes into taking care of the building. The staff is amazing, helpful, and always ready to work. The building is well kept. I can't speak enough on how hard the staff works. It's an excellent hotel when visiting the city."

"We liked this hotel and would stay there again. That said, the management could do better. The hotel's 31 floors are serviced by three quite small elevators, so expect a wait at times. This is made worse when bellhops and their trolleys use them, and room cleaners with their carts use them. They should be using the service elevators only. Also, for a four star hotel they are unnecessarily cheap about some things. For instance, arrive early and ask them to store your bags until your room is ready, and they will charge you $2 a bag to do so! There are two small complimentary bottles of water in your room when you arrive. You can use these to make coffee in the room. But, stay more than one night and you need to buy your own water for coffee or use bathroom tap water. Finally, it would be nice to have a shelf in the bathroom, and how does one use a make-up mirror positioned behind the toilet?"
