"This place constantly runs out of the dog food I need (which is a good thing for them) but every time I go there and they’re out of it, they say to call ahead to check first instead of walking the 20 blocks to get there. Yet, every time I call they never ever answer the phone so it’s impossible to get a hold of them."

"I recently moved to the neighborhood and came here because of the great reviews and I always prefer to support small businesses. The first time I stopped in I asked if a particular dog food could be ordered - they carry the brand, just not the senior version that I feed my dog. When I was able to get the attention of the woman behind the counter (who was on her phone the whole time I was in the store) she said that she'd ask the owner. I asked if I should leave my number, she said no. I also purchased some dog treats and when I got home noticed that one of the bags had a store sticker for $4.99 but below it the bag was printed with $1.99. I've since stopped in again, but they're not carrying the food I requested and each time the woman at the counter is seated and on her phone the whole time totally disinterested in my asking if the food is in or can be ordered. Today I went in to stock up on treats, not the one with the $3 increased price but the other treats which I priced on Amazon and they were similar enough in price. However now the price has gone up to over $10 for the bag that was $7 a month ago (and is $7 on Amazon). I've found a store further down 5th that carries the food I need and will now shop there."

"I was passing by and realized i needed to buy some cat food. I've passed by a few times but never went inside. The first thing i noticed was the high quality food the store sells, such as Tiki cat, orijen, and wellness, to name a few. The owner was also very friendly and helpful. He also had two feline body guards in the back lounging around. Even though the store was small, I really liked the merchandise that was being sold and the quality of service. I will definitely be shopping here again."
