"The front desk staff are extremely pleasant. When I got in I noticed an odor that followed me all the way to my room. It wasn't exactly clean in the room either adding to the odor. The room was poorly lit and looked a bit run down. The looked ragged and behind it was pretty dusty. Inside the bathroom, the sink didn't seem to work well where hot water is concerned. Otherwise, I love how close to everything the hotel was. It was pretty easy to get around and see different sites and do different things. Honestly, I love the location but I wouldn't come back without some Lysol or something. Maybe a glade or air wick plugin to freshen up the room."

"Awesome Awesome Awesome hotel. Convenient to a few Subway lines. Cheap good nearby. 30 minutes to Manhattan. EVERTHING was absolutely great. The elevator smelled as if it had just been cleaned pretty much every time I got on there. I liked the motion lighting in the hallway and bathroom. Great idea. If the price is right I will stay again and again"

"Stayed for one night during the busy Christmas weekend. An hour after I checked in, another family unlocked my room door and nearly walked into my room while I was watching TV in my boxers, due to an error by overwhelmed staff assigning us the same room. A 14 story building with only two small elevators, not enough for the hotel at capacity. On top of that only one elevator was working. Long lines formed in the lobby as the elevator stopped at every single floor up and down. Getting from any floor down to the lobby was even harder as the elevator was constantly full. My room had no towels. I asked for some at the front desk but they never arrived. I couldn't even take a shower while I was there. I was given an accessible room. I am not a person with disabilities but it was one of the only rooms left, which is fine. However the bench in the shower was not installed right, with the feet not screwed into the legs. Good thing I didn't ever get in the shower and decide to sit down. And double good thing I didn't also require the disabled accomodation. This would have been very dangerous. Do not stay here if you can help it."

"Great location in downtown Brooklyn and front desk service shows care in your stay. Room maintenance seems behind, such as shower door nearly coming off, refrigerator, and other doors loose. Recommend keeping air conditioning on to clear unpleasant smells during my stay. Still the room has good lighting and comfortable bed. A pleasant surprise was a sauna, but a small fitness center made working out tight for even three people."
