"Great location right in front of the macys store. The hotel does not have signage and you have to look for the rooftop bar signage to find the hotel. The first day checking in the front desk was extremely nice 10/10 customer service. The bellman that day was also 10/10 customer service extremely kind I forgot her name and his name. The rest of the desk and bellmen were 7/10 customer service. The room was clean and great views but small complaints like contact lenses and shower not draining and stained sheets in the corners is all I have that is negative. I would stay again."

"We spent 5 nights in a king deluxe room. It was very clean and very comfortable. The location is perfect for visiting NYC - close to subway, shopping, eating, Broadway. The hotel does NOT have a sign outside the building and the lobby looks like a delivery entrance. I was worried when I arrived. But the staff was friendly and professional. They let us check our luggage since we arrived around 1 PM and we went for lunch. At 3, the room was ready and once I saw the room, I felt we would be comfortable. We will stay at the Herald again. The coffee maker was in the room but the coffee packages did not produce drinkable coffee. However, there is a busy coffee and breakfast cart just to the right of the entrance near the subway. A large coffee was $2 and a breakfast sandwich was $4. So it was a quick ride on the elevator to get my morning joe."

"When I return to NYC this is the hotel i'll be staying at. The location was 10000000/10! So convenient especially with a metro stop right outside. We booked a king suite and the room was very clean, spacious and had amazing views. Hot water in the taps was always readily available. AC worked exceptionally well. There was a mini fridge and a safe as well. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Elevators worked very quickly. 10/10 experience. Can't wait to come back!"

"Great room - we lucked out - helped, as it rained throughout our 3 night stay. The room was large, and well maintained, with a great bathroom. Furniture, fixtures are dated, but did not bother us. Lobby is small, crowded, but there is a waiting room/lounge on a higher floor where a group or two can wait, if needed. Management was courteous, and the ride to the airport they arranged was great. Rooftop bar/restaurant visit did not happen because of the incessant rain. No complaints about our stay!"
