Courtyard by Marriott New York World Trade Center Area

"My girlfriend and I got a standard king room on the sixth floor on the back side. That is fine as that is what I booked. However, when we got to the room we found they were renovating the building behind us and all we could hear was jackhammers and sledgehammers. There was no way I could tolerate this. We we're going to cancel and go somewhere else but the lady at the front desk found us a room away from that noise. She was so nice and the new room (8th floor front) was absolutely perfect. We are so grateful they made this accommodation for us. We spent 8 days there and never had one single issue. Housekeeping was also fantastic. Great rates, close to subway would recommend. Also some reviews mention it's in an unsafe area, I disagree 100% there are some people that hang out at a deli on the same street but they were nothing but nice and didn't bother us at all. This is New York this is small potatoes compared to other locations. Don't let this deter you."

"A really excellent hotel for the value with a decent sized room by New York standards. Mini-fridge and an in lobby pantry section that isn't as common in NYC hotels. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Hotel has easy to access HDMI inputs which is different from some other Marriott properties. Decent water pressure in the bathroom. Bathroom door is a bit difficult to open on account of the sliding nature and lack of obvious handles. Room was a bit drafty but persistent heat more than made up for it."

"Anthony at the front desk was phenomenal. He was super friendly, explained everything and was very professional. We asked for a couple accommodations and he made it happen without hesitation. This was the 3rd hotel we tried this week and his professional and friendliness put the rest to shame. The rooms were spacious and and spotless when it came to cleanliness. "Classic small NYC room - just enough room to walk around the bed. It is in an amazing location. It has super easy access to the subway so we were able to quickly get going wherever we wanted to go in the city. My only poor thing is I paid extra for a high room thinking it would give us a view. The only view we got was directly into another building where they do massages but do not close their blinds. Kinda awkward, but you know, you get what you pay for I guess? Haha."
