"Good hotel rooms spacious housekeeping was excellent. Food service a little slow but quality was good. Roof top bar a real treat"

"Wow! I’m shocked they are considered a 4.5 star hotel! No way would I rate them that high. First, the bed is terrible!! You can hear and feel the metal springs and very uncomfortable. You can see in my pic where the bedspread is showing how lumpy the bed is. The air conditioner won’t stop no matter what I do. Even in the off position. The room is shabby at best. I will not come back."

"Just checked in for the weekend. The lobby and rooftop bar are small but well appointed. The rooms are decent size and clean but there was lots of deferred maintenance, peeling paint, decayed caulking, dirty walls, sink won’t drain. The hotel is a bit older and it’s showing. Somewhat typical of NYC but I would pay a bit more to stay someplace else. Also the resort/amenity fee provides little value aside from a bottle of water which is disappointing."

"This was a super convenient location for a recent work trip to NY. The room was cozy and made efficient use of the slightly limited space - but I’m sure that’s on par with other locations in NYC. The only inconvenience I experienced was that no one was at the front desk at 8:40am the morning I checked out. I waited 5–6 minutes but had to leave in order to make it to a meeting on time. Then afterwards I had to make my way back to the hotel to finally get checked out and get my final invoice. I’m guessing there was a good reason nobody was there, but that’s a prime time for business travelers to be checking out (and I was not the only one waiting). Other than that, it was a positive experience and I’d certainly come back in the future."

"Had actually stayed at this hotel in July and overall, a great experience. The rooms are fairly clean and housekeeping did a great job in ensuring that everything was up to par during our five day stay. The front desk staff were helpful enough to split the hold for us when we were having unfortunate card/bank issues. Should be aware though that because it is an older building, there were issues with the shower (we couldn't quite figure out how to turn on/off the shower) and for some reason room service was not always available via the room phone. There would also be a long wait for the elevator as it seemed that the rooftop bar was prioritized by the hotel. Other than those few things, the hotel was lovely to stay at. The whole vibe and aesthetic present was good. Overall if you'd like to come into New York, stay neat SOHO, and be in an quieter area compared to Times Square, this is the place."
