"I’m sad right now. Because when I come to NYC I always book with these guys and my first few times some years ago the rooms were great. Now these rooms are horrible, first - The hotel charges you $40 a night for nothing basically( they mentioned for water in the room and $10 at the bar). The rooms are old, ( check out my pictures) and need to be updated. There is no mini fridge or microwave in the rooms. The vents are dirty and the furniture is chipped and peeling. There are no sockets near the bed except one by an extension cord. The outlets in the bathroom didn’t work which my wife couldn’t do her hair( and you know that’s and ISSUE) and the taxes on this place is ridiculous. They taxed me on the service charge. This is not a 4 STAR ⭐️ hotel at all. It used to be some years ago but now this is a 3 star ⭐️ hotel in a magnificent area. The TV is horrible. I’m watching regular cable, no apps to sign into at all."

"Guest services don’t answer the phone, it just keeps ringing. I texted (weird feature) asking them to come help with something, they said they would right away and they never did, my stay was several days. The light in the bathroom was out so it was pitch black in there. The heater hardly worked, I had it on max on both of the remotes and still had to sleep in my long winter puffer jacket. It finally decided to work on my last day as I was packing to check out, which is how I know it was not my mistake as I hadn’t changed anything in the settings since first turning it on when I arrived. Great location and view though, and the beds are comfy compared to other hotels that are this bad. No signs of bed bugs either which is unfortunately a big plus in NYC"

"Decent hotel, the view and the location are phenomenal, but the room is average. The room, however, needs some updating. The TV, despite being a newish flat screen, quality is not great. There isn't much going on in the room, no fridge or microwave, just a bed and a table, and a tv, and a bathroom. Heads up- There's a $200 dollar security deposit that I wasn't aware of till I arrived. Is cool, but this is something that needs to be communicated. Otherwise, Great location, and it is convenient to commute to Midtown and other parts of the city."

"I usually don't write reviews, but wanted to warn other travelers. To start, this hotel is in a fantastic location. The exterior is beautiful. Service staff are good. Views depending on the room are spectacular. However, the rooms are a nightmare. Carpets are filthy and tearing in places. Wallpaper peeling. Stains on things you never expected to have stains. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. No fridge, or microwave (in 2024!? I've slept in Motel Sixes with more room appliances) Nowhere near worth the price tag. I would expect more from a hotel is such a prestigious location. Traveler beware!"

"Had a great stay if you're 18+ they will let you in no question. Safe place with a great view. Staff was really nice, room was clean, and they're are great places to grab a bite to eat near by. The only weird thing was that the fridge was bolted shut, but they're are ice machines on every floor. Highly recommend!"
