Motel 6 Odenton, MD - Fort Meade

"This was by far the nastiest hotel that I have ever stayed at. My non smoking room reeked of cigarettes and weed. The towels had burns and stains on them. The toilet had years of grime stained onto it. The comforter had burn marks and the pillow cases were stained. The shower drain hardly worked and when the water built up, nastiness came from the drain. It looked like throw up and snot coming out of the drain onto my feet. We spent an hour trying to clean and rid the room of the smell but it wasn’t enough."

"4/5 Stars Come to find someone has been living in my room without paying. Witch is very rude of him as I now cannot use my toilet. He has been very rude and has chosen not to pay me for his time here so I have made the very hard decision of kicking him out. Even tho my toilet is now free to use. He has been banging on my door to let him in to see his children. I will not let him in without a smidge of rent! Update Toilet Spider has decided to pay rent by bringing me a fly. I have accepted his offer and let him back in to see his family. The toilet however has been taken over again and I am still wondering why has the toilet spider chosen the toilet and not a better spot? But we may never know…. Update His name is Freddy or Fred (Honestly good place to stay y’all should check it out sometime as staff seems friendly enough and I thank them for the privacy they have given me)"

"The place is gross. Holes in bedsheets and stains on linens and towels. Non-smoking rooms reek of Marijuana smoke. I went to stay and was given a non-smoking room. Walked in and was immediately hit by the smell of Marijuana. Asked for a different room, and was given one, but it also reeked of marijuana smoke. Pillows feel like they've been slept on for the past 10 years. $80-90 a room is not a "cheap" hotel. Clean linens and towels are the bare minimum, and this hotel can't even do that."

"This place is god awful don't stay here they are con artists and say they charge your card one thing and next thing you know you get charged $12 extra with no explanation and when you ask what happened they argue and say you're giving them a hard time for no reason all because they are out to scam you. I came to check in at 1 am and the man with the grey hair who works there and barely speaks any English nor knows how to communicate and you can barely understand him told me that I would not have to check out at that morning at 11 am and it would be the next business day I check out. Then they knock on my door at 1130 am waking me up telling me it's check out time after I clearly was told I had the whole day and night. He lives there and refuses to speak to me when he sees me and the lady says I'm lying and that was never the agreement. They scammed me out of $90 and I never even signed an agreement like every other time and of course I didn't get receipt.. how convenient right? LOL. Don't waste your money this place is literally dirty and trashy and they will steal from you. If you do stay demand a receipt."

"My husband & I have stayed here quite a few times & usually it's not too bad. You get what you pay for but we've been in worse for sure. Only issues we have is it's next to impossible to communicate with the man in the lobby. He didn't know how to scan my ID correctly and tried to say we didn't have a reservation even though we did. We finally worked it out after a video call w\the owner. Hoping this won't happen again because until now we had liked this motel."
