"Wish I had read reviews before taking my daughter here, as we are now being charged almost as much for a 5 min. blood draw as we were for 2 nights in the hospital and an emergency appendectomy on Christmas Day. I don't think it's ethical that parents should be hit with such outrageous unexpected charges when they are at the height of stress and confusion trying to get answers about their child’s medical condition. (Especially when they are initially diagnosed with only celiac, to find out 2 days later their appendix has burst.) Of course, I have spoken with the “supervisor” and only thing I’m told is they can offer me 25% off if I pay over the phone and to next time talk to my insurance first. How was I to expect that the outpatient facility next to the hospital would bill me hospital rates? You shouldn't be expected to pay for an emergency visit for a simple blood draw outside of the hospital that was recommended by the same company’s doctor. Very ridiculous indeed."

"Everyone was so helpful and considerate. My daughter has a very bad reaction to getting her blood drawn. The staff made sure my daughter could lay down and they were swift with the blood draw. She was able lay down and rest after they were done. Thank you, Patsy, for your help! We appreciate you and everyone there! Happy holidays!"

"I don't know where to start - everyone here was so helpful and amazing. I made the 30 minute drive to this lab because my 2 year old (and I) had the worst experience at another lab that wasn't prepared for pedi lab draws. The order I brought for the lab draw wasn't valid and the front office helped me get a new order from my doctor's office so they would be able to do it. The nurses were SO GREAT and so friendly. As a fellow nurse, it meant so much to me and relieved me of all my anxiety from our last experience. Sydney was our nurse and she was FABULOUS. I did not get the woman's name at the front desk but she was SO SO HELPFUL! I am so grateful for them all! THANK YOU"

"This is the result of my 13 month olds blood draw…….. they stuck him 3 times and didn’t get the draw. They were fishing the needle around in his arm and he was in intense pain. He was crying so hard he was turning purple. After the 3rd unsuccessful try I said we were done. Busted blood vessels on both arms….. I understand it’s difficult to get blood from babies but this was traumatizing"

"I would give one star but gave two stars because the African American hematologist who was so kind and friendly, amazing with my baby drew her blood and was very patient with my baby squirming, kicking/crying. That was her very first time getting her blood drawn. She tried really hard to find a vein too. The front desk lady was also very nice, she was this Caucasian, blonde lady. Sorry I don’t know their names, had to describe their race . I took three stars because of Lupita (she mentioned her name) that works there. They couldn’t take enough blood from my baby’s vein that needed. So they said they would call me back, if I have to come back. I called since it has been a while and that they would let me know once they got the results. Lupita answered, I was trying to ask her and explain the situation kindly but she RUDELY interrupted me and rudely asked me what’s the question.. while I was talking. She didn’t seem friendly at all over the phone and unprofessional. I already had a long day with my baby, pregnant, worried. and exhausted, who has been through a lot. Parents don’t need to be spoken like this."
