“If you love cats, then this is your place. I took my daughter and her friend here for a birthday treat. We had the afternoon tea, which was £25pp. I think this was a little on the pricy side, but the food was really good quality and tasty and part of the cost is to the charity. The staff were friendly and helpful and my daughter loved all the cats walking around. We spend an hour and half just soaking up the kitty atmosphere and we're satisfied when we left. All the cats are rescued and have good temperaments. I'd highly recommend to anyone who likes cats and wants to support this cause. Remember to read the rules before you go and I wouldn't recommend to children under 8 or 9.”

“First time I have visited the lake's for many years..long before the Café existed. I'm blown away with the Café. Such a wide range of food on the menu to suit most people. Really friendly and helpful staff, gave it a more personal approach and the café itself was beautifully presented with gorgeous pictures of the lake's taken at different seasons and such cozy and comfortable seating. There's outdoor seating for warmer weather. Very pleasantly surprised by this beautiful little gem of a place Great for a celebration or just a catch up with your friends and/or family. Definitely one of my new favourite places..including the wildlife and rescue cat's and chickens. I highly recommend that you go there and experience it for yourselves.”

“What a fab place to go. We turned up (18 of us) and I'd forgotten to give them warning we were coming but they were on the ball and everyone's order was correct. There was even a trainee on the till but it was fine and he was helped by another employee. Food and atmosphere were great. The only downside was that the toilets weren't open so it was a bit of a walk to the other toilets for us disabled people and luckily it was dry. The staff were all friendly and efficient and handled the large numbers professionally. The cakes are to die for and the breakfast bap I had was delicious. We got to see the little trains too. “A fantastic inconspicuous little restaurant hidden in a quiet corner of Pound Tree Road, just a stone's throw from the busy high street. Inside is quite compact and narrow with limited tables. However there is something charming about being in a small space and seeing the food prepared in the kitchen just a few feet away. Food was lovely, authentic and reminiscent of the dishes I had during my visit to Thailand. My Pad See Ew was delicious as the noodles were cooked perfectly. My partner had the Pad Phrik Khing (chicken stir fried in red curry paste) which was flavourful owing to the lime leaves. Although Thai cuisine is laden with chili, none of the food was overtly spicy. It took a bit of time for the food to come out as kitchen was also loaded with take away orders but when it did, everything was served fresh, piping hot and with a smile. This is quality Thai food that I could safely say I highly recommend. .”

This old authentic pub has a wonderful modern injection so it’s great for everyone The views are stunning… only downfall is the stairs down the the pub there’s quite a few ( not that I mind ) going up is a workout with a full belly!”

I can't thank Ricky enough as this is the first experience since being diagnosed 5 years ago that I haven't had to worry about what's in my drink. “This is the best pizza in Southampton. My boyfriend and I love it, we go there every few weeks and we love the food and the atmosphere in there. Every friend that visited us we took them there to try it and they also said they loved it. An intim and rustic interior design. Italian ingredients such as prosciutto and parmesan are used as toppings.The food takes you straight to Italy. The pizza is ready in 10-15 min and always good quality and fresh ingredients are used.”

Would recommend this venue more than most for entertainment and just an all round great experience. Match days are always a great atmosphere before and after the games (regardless of the result) and the entertainment through the week such as karaoke and live music make for a very pleasant and fun place to be.”

“Went today a few days after opening, food was very good. Ribs were so meaty and tender. Little bit disappointed they had no corn bread, or corn on the cob available for side, but they've just opened so can be forgiven, 4.9 stars was looking forward to some cornbread”
