“Went with my wife and two children, one of whom is 6 on new year's eve. Was an amazing experience, highly recommend going. So many highlights it's difficult to know where to begin, just go! Also, quite empty, well ventilated bigtop made it reasonably "Covid-secure"”

“I love Harbour Lights. The café is good and decent reasonably priced pizzas are recommended. I joined the membership scheme - you get money off and it effectively pays for itself after 5 films. And the discount means each film is around £8.50 - bargain”

“Thoroughly enjoyed my experience of watching movie at the Showcase. On my first visit, I had to buy the premier tickets to the movie I wanted to watch, because all others were sold out. But it was worth the price. It cost £16.50 per person and it was a luxurious experience. The tickets included a sweet/savoury snack box.”

“All the staff from the box office, the technical team, the front of house and the bar staff are all super friendly and welcoming. Having performed many shows there as a promoter and as a performer and also as a customer I would thoroughly recommend the Royal Theatre. It is a beautiful building and there is always a special atmosphere.”

“The outside doesn't really give you a clue to the inside... It seems really small as you walk through the door but then it opens up to the ceiling, quite incredible and completely unexpected It has more of medieval hall vibe than a pub It has a large open fireplace at one end, above there are 3 knights in armour.... Exposed beams and lots of original details...It's dark and atmospheric.... I loved it, just didn't expect it We didn't eat here but the food looked amazing”

“First time visit for nearly 40yrs!! Not quite in the style of the old pub but in the same location opposite the Civic Centre. It has space upstairs for live bands to perform, the main bar is downstairs & there is covered seating outside. The bar has a massive Saints FC theme & is frequented by many fans before & after games, also handy to have a beer or two before or after a gig in the Guildhall. Us oldies used to frequent this establishment before & after games back in the day, so it was great to return. Usual beers & ales for sale, a definite recommendation even if you’re not a football fan.”

“Arrived, easy parking albeit not Tavern parking. First impression, awesome! Family feel vibe, very professional and great attention to detail. I do not usually review before we check out but we are just so happy and chuffed to have found this gem! Our room is lovely plus all the add ons - PROPER COFFEE, excuse the caps but you know if you know. Bottled water, beer, wine! Fabulous Looking forward to breakfast tomorrow!
