“My wife Karen and I have been recommended to take our Golden Retriever to see Philippa by our orthopaedic vet to have physiotherapy with her because of a very unusual and rare condition he has which Philippa is very knowledgeable of and will be able to help us. We have spoken to her twice. We were anxious and upset but she completely put our minds at rest by explaining to us calmly and what to do up to my appointment and not to worry and she has been so kind and helpful and superbly knowledgeable about his condition. Philippa took so much time to explain to us what our gorgeous boy has and we have every confidence going to visit her. We would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone who needs to go to Active Pets she also has a lovely receptionist, Hope, who was so kind and helpful also. As We all know when our pets are unwell it is very upsetting but to be able to speak and see someone who is professional, kind and caring is a huge relief. We are 100 per cent confident she will help us and she comes highly recommended from a top orthopaedic surgeon who we have known and trusted for decades.”

Kerry takes such great care of our rabbit Peter and has also been there for us for advice and support as we have gone through life changes. “I had my cat reside at this lovely home from home cat hotel for the first time recently. I was apprehensive about how he might cope, never having been away before. I need not have worried. Sarah gives a wonderful caring service, and clearly loves looking after cats and thinks of it as a privilege! Max settled easily, and was slways so relaxed when I popped in. Regular updates were provided and great photos attached. It is obvious that the cats who stay at Dulverton get the 5 star treatment, and health and cleanliness are attended to. The cat hotel is very spotlessly clean, and warm and comfortable.... I would highly recommend this establishment for any cat.”

“Our golden retriever puppy has just graduated from puppy school with Amanda and what a fantastic 6 weeks it has been. Amanda is gifted and amazing at what she does. Amanda was super accommodating to Winston being very excitable during classes and was there to offer support outside of classes if we had any concerns. We have also taken private lessons with Bella who is fantastic too! Would highly recommend Happy Buddies for your pups.”

“We cannot recommend dog in black highly enough, it’s almost impossible to leave a review that expresses how wonderful they are. Our pup goes on day care with them every week and has regular sleep overs and we know he is cared for wonderfully, he is never happier than when he is picked up! I also love that it’s not a traditional day care centre where the dogs spend a lot of time just in a room together which wouldn’t suit our dog. It’s all outdoor activities or one on one love. In addition the team are so caring and considerate with us, helping with last minute requests, accommodating us when we moved and supporting us and our dog when he had major surgery. You won’t regret sending your dog here!!”

She is so caring and concerned about all animals and I would recommend her to anyone who needs care for any animal. She had also looked after family rabbits when my daughters have been away. No one is more caring for any animals.”

“Sophie has been looking after our 4 month old puppy for 6 weeks now and we are so happy! When Sophie first met our little guy it was for a consultation so they could meet eachother and make sure it was the right fit for both Sophie and us. Sophie took the time to learn what stage our puppy was at and was more than happy to accommodate our little one. When we first started walking our puppy he would take a few steps and then sit on the floor refusing to move. After a few walks with Sophie he was a changed dog and was excited to go out for a stroll and walks continuously. Sophie sends regular updates on all platforms and has helped socialise our puppy by including him in her daily group walks. We would recommend Sophie 100% Thank you Sophie”

It’s obvious that Shirley really loves dogs and takes excellent care of Amber whilst we are away - the regular updates of what she’s been up to are lovely (and sometimes very funny!) “Took our anxious cockapoo for a full groom as she was getting quite shaggy. The team were patient and careful with her and friendly to us. They did a great job of getting our dog clean and tidy. Their prices tend towards the high end, but it was well worth it, we knew the price going in, and there were no hidden extras. Would recommend highly. Sadly we are moving out of the area so we will have to find somewhere else in future.”
