Paws Galore Pet Sitters

"We've used paws galore a few times now for travel. Every pet sitter that has visited has been excellent. They are attentive and follow instructions, while also being lovely people who are kind to animals. Administration is easy and nice to work with."

"I booked a cat sitter a way in advance for the Christmas season, for some dates this company charge double the usual fee. Once you fill in the booking form, you will be referred to one of the pet sitters with whom you have to contact directly. In our case, there were multiple text messages to change dates and time multiple times. At the end, I gave up. It is not the sitter's fault to get sick and it is quite sensible of her not to visit someone's home when she was sick for the obvious reason. There were some times that I got cancelled because she was assigned a job. It was when I came to think, "is this a job too?". So I decided to cancel the service before giving my keys. What I did not notice was that for the Christmas season, the company charges you 25% cancellation fee (in my case GBP200) if you cancel within 21 days from the start of the service. I found it a bit too much. I didn't even meet the sitter. I hate to leave reviews, especially to a company that has rave reviews. I am not writing the complaints but the information for prospective customers who need sitters for their loving pets so that they know what to expect. I am sure their sitters are lovely and the one assigned to me was communicative and would have been a good sitter. But leaving a customer and sitter to communicate directly without intervening and charge that much cancellation should be well considered by prospective customers before filling the form. As much as you want to go on holidays, leaving your pets always worries the owners so you don't want any doubt of the sitter and would like to trust that person 100%. I coudn't, after numerous rescheduling of the initial meeting. The company offered to intervene when I contacted about the cancellation - for that effort I would give 3 starts. Otherwise none."

"Excellent service from the whole team. I contacted Paws Galore at short notice to look after my 2 cats and Kacey could not have been more helpful or accommodating. Kristin was absolutely wonderful, she sent me regular text updates and lots of lovely pictures. I was so nervous to leave them but she put me completely at ease and I could relax and enjoy my holiday knowing they were being took such great care of. I came back to two very happy cats! I cannot recommend Paws Galore more highly and will definitely be using them again."

Happily, I contacted Paws and had immediate attention to my needs and a lovely lady that cared for them while I was gone. Extremely personal and warm service. As a cat behaviorist and loving cat caregiver, I would absolutely recommend them!"

"Great service from Kacey and the team in arranging dog sitting for Arlo and Indy at our hotel in London (shout out also to Montague on the Gardens). Lee our sitter was great arriving in good time to hand over our two Goldies and had no issue staying on later than planned when we had tube difficulties getting back from the O2. Highly recommend them."
