Hotel Chino Hills

"This has potential to be a nice boutique hotel. The staff are very polite and accommodating. The location is good, too. But, there are some very serious issues to arrive and expect a good night's sleep. First, it is still undergoing renovations: it's surrounded by steel storage boxes, so parking is questionable. Then, there are fire alarms hanging from the wall and ceiling panels wide open (most likely fire code violations.) Then, my sink was locked closed, so washing my hands was futile (except for using the shower, which DOES have good pressure and hot water, but be careful because that doesn't drain either!) FINALLY, my mattress was still mostly wrapped in the shipping plastic!! I'm expected to sleep on a crunchy, non-breathable mattress & PAY FOR IT?!?Thankfully the front desk gentleman said I could take mine off, (but he couldn't help me, because they might return the mattresses?!?) Seriously, WAIT to book a room here until this place gets things figured out & situated. UNACCEPTABLE. I saw the review before mine on another platform. I will checkout and get a receipt in the morning and show my photos to the front desk and manager before I leave to make sure I do not incur any unnecessary charges."

"Me and my husband booked a room here Room wasn’t so bad very nice and clean The only problem was we had to pay $200 cash deposit When we checked out They took $15 for a little bit of makeup on the towel and another $15 for a little bit of makeup in my pillow something that can easily been washed It’s not a lot but very upset for them. Charging me that if the stuff wasn’t damaged ripped or anything first and last time ."

"I booked a room at this hotel to lessen the drive to West Covina as my wife and I had to get up early and drive to a hospital there. My wife and I came to this hotel hoping we could get a decent night’s rest. Well, we thought wrong! Just like many of the other people I was greeted by only one staff member which seemed to be the only one working for the entire hotel. I didn’t see any cleaning people or maintenance workers. There was no customer service at all. After waiting for some time, we finally get checked in to get our key and make our way to the room and the room was filthy dirty. It looked like the bed hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. The carpet was dirty and looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks. The bathroom and the room were disgusting. Everything had dirt and dust all over it. The room was very hot, and the AC didn’t work. My wife and I were so disgusted with the room, we decided to leave after only being there 5-10 minutes. Before leaving I explained all the issues with the room and that I would not be paying for such filth. I requested a refund but the girl at the front desk said that I would have to send an email to the manager. I got the girl’s name at the front desk and the manager and after driving all the way back home, I immediately emailed the manager. The next day I had no response, so I sent another email. I waited another day but no response. After one week I realized that this is not a business and should be shut down! I never received any response from the hotel or any manager. Very unprofessional! PLEASE DO NOT BOOK HERE! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I used my credit card, so I reported the hotel to the credit card company and get this now that I’m fighting them on payment, now all of sudden they respond and still expect me to pay! What a joke this place is! They just want FREE MONEY. I definitely will be reporting this place if I have the time! AGAIN, DO NOT GO OR BOOK HERE! I would give it a ZERO star if google would allow it. I hope this review helps other people to steer clear of this place."

"This hotel is filthy, terrible customer service, be careful not to book through a third-party. The website is set up to make you think that you are booking directly with the hotel but beware it will take you to a third party website. I paid 240.00 and was force's to stay in a hotel that is filthy. My room is full of ants. It looks like they are renovating the property so it appears as though you are coming into a clean establishment. No customer service. The young girls have a bad attitude because this establishment is terrible. Don't book here the most terrible experience I've ever had."

"We purchased through a third party and there was NO mention of a deposit fee. If using card it's $100 and cash $250. My husband was upset and was explaining to the front desk we had no money on hand. There was no way to get a refund. As this is going on the cops were called on my parents who were waiting outside in their car. They were asked what they were doing and if the person they dropped off is a good person. Literally no cops were out until my husband got in a discussion with the front desk over the phone. This hotel made me feel judged and the worker should've had their third parties updated with additional fees. The front desk let me pay $100 in cash. Front desk worker did have attitude. The room was clean but there was still hair on the sheets curly yet mine is straight. They had breakfast of a few items with crumbs and a mess on the counter. WiFi was very slow. 10/10 don't recommend."
