"This place has great selection of appliances, both new and my favorite appliances with a ding."
"NO SUPPORT AFTER THE SALE! (Missing appliance, AWOL rep and ineffective leadership...) When I saw the reviews of this appliance store I felt confident in giving them my $30k+ order. (Hint - they are old) And, the rep, Rob K. was pretty on top of it at first. Then it got harder to get a response or follow up (had been 4 months since appliances ordered). Appliances finally did arrive (I picked them up) only to find one them damaged by Basco. I was assured by the rep that they would have a replacement within two weeks. That was in July. I have tried numerous times to reach Rob and he does not return phone calls or emails. Finally reached his boss, Fred who agreed that this gross lack of communication and customer treatment was unacceptable and said he would have Rob reach out to me immediately. That was 5 days ago. (What's really happened is although i ordered my dishwasher back in the beginning of March, and Basco damaged it, I got kicked to the back of the line and now told November - Still no follow up from Rob or Fred) If I were the Cronins, owners of Basco, I think I would be reviewing the leadership and customer service culture, at least in Fred's sphere of influence. Ineffective and inert. I would take your money somewhere else; its a tough time to sell/buy appliances. But that's no excuse for the absence of customer service. Just a vacuum."
