"I did an extended stay here through the winter & absolutely loved the place, cannot speak highly enough about it. The view is absolutely stunning, on a clear day you can sit there & count every tree on Mt Juneau. The location is great, it's right in the heart of Juneau's downtown & within walking distance of nearly everything. The landlord, Dale, is a really friendly and considerate guy, super easy-going, and the apartment itself is the easily the nicest I've ever had. The wifi's pretty good for Juneau; it's not jaw-dropping but I get a solid ~40 mb/s & I'm able to play games, stream movies, and work from home without issue. Also there's a really nice heater/cooler in the unit with a built-in thermostat; absolutely essential if you're not used to Juneau weather. The only drawback is weekend noises from the bars across the street, the music and people can get pretty loud at times. The glass in the windows is insanely thick and does a good job of stifling it, but if you're sensitive to noises then it could be an issue. It's really only Friday and Saturday nights though, the rest of the time it's really quiet. In general though I'm madly in love with this place. It's ruined other apartments for me, I don't know how I'm going to go back to some cramped 10x10."
