Comfort Inn West Valley - Salt Lake City South 2229 City Center Court, West Valley City, UT 84119

"First we got there late and wanted to hit the pool and hot tub. The retractable roof was open and the pool and pool room were freezing because it was snowy out still. There were no towels in the pool room and when we asked up front they said we had to use the ones in the room. No worries yet. We went showered and tried to watch tv.. there was only 1 channel so we slept. Next morning I asked for new towels in my room and trash out please. We left for the entire day when we returned at 9pm our keys didn’t work to get in. The girl up front was fairly rude about it, I also asked about the TV and she said “you should’ve told me in the morning.” She went up to try to get in our room and had to use the master key. We got in to find no new towels, no trash out, but we were too exhausted. First thing in the morning I went down to ask for towels and was told I had to bring all my dirty ones down before they’d give me clean ones. The trashes in the halls hadn’t been taken care of in 2.5 days, and we noticed during clean up to leave just how nasty the room we stayed in was. All of this might have been manageable but all 3 of the different people at the front were INCREDIBLY rude. I was stopped by another guest after trying to get towels and they said they were told they couldn’t have any towels at all. I plan to call corporate, but this does not deserve to be associated with Comfort Inn"

"Man I wish I had read the reviews before booking. Disgusting room? check. Bed bugs? check. Rude staff? check. Shower with broken shower head and no hot water? check. I went with this hotel because it was cheaper, and wow do I regret it. Please spend the little bit of extra money per night to stay somewhere nicer, this place is not worth it."

"They give towel and toilet paper rations so you might want to bring your own. The breakfast was bad enough for me to make a run to McDonald’s. It’s an older place., dingy rooms. Try to take a shower at five in the morning and it takes a long time for the hot water to get to you. Location is great, next to dining and Maverick. Next to freeway, but without the noise. They should not call this place an Inn, they should call it a motel"

"They don't have a shuttle service that I know of or a weekly rates....just a day to day thing. Rooms are nice and the bed was very comfortable. I needed a handicap room which had plenty of room and handle bars to help me in and out of the tub for my shower."

"I would provide zero stars if possible. The only upside to the hotel is the location. All three of the rooms our party rented did not show a sign of cleanliness. Each room had mysterious red stains on the mattress and sheets . The ceilings had random black stains. One of the bathrooms also included a stain that appeared to be blood and black spots. Overall, the experience was not comforting. I will not be staying here again."
